Gorgeous bike. I really like the Roadster version. Reminds me A LOT of the Wakan. Wonder if there's a connection.

Looks good, long as you don't want to ride very far...
But, what do I know.

It's just a renamed Wakan. Nothing "new" but the brand.

http://thekneeslider.com/wakan-1640-new-french-v-t win-motorcycle/

They've been building these for the past 7 years or something.

I'd heard that Wakan was changing hands but didn't know that it was this company.

Nice bike, I might get one to hang on the back of my yacht, only problem I can see is the bars being a bit wide to get it in the Lear.

This is specially for the dyslexic 'slicker,

The Wakan/Avinton looks nice in a strange sort of way......but the price is just a joke. GBP30000 (US$48K) for an impractical bike that will probably have no spares or service backup once the company goes bust again after 2 years? No thanks.

That is the price of a new BMW 1200GS AND a Panigale for sunny days : )

I know but it means I'd have to sell the Lear & buy a C130 as a toy hauler if I go down that route.

Now where did I put that damn lottery ticket?

I thought I had picked the wrong profession and I needed to be a truck driver like Innes

The Wakan only had one 'flavor'. The Roadster version of this doesn't look any less practical than an S1.
I would like to buy one of those primary covers. Baker sells one for big twins, but can't find them for sale for XLs.

To me, it still looks like a standard Wakan with a different exhasut and adjustable clip ons. The "Roadster" is the same bike as the others but with bars in the highest position. From what I could tell, anyway.

If I had that kind of dough after I bought an 1190RS, I'd get on of these: http://www.godet-motorcycles.com/egli/cafe.htm

And since it's also in France, if Mr G. could arrange the time, I'd let him take a brief test ride.
