A burglar broke into a house one night. He shined his flashlight around, looking for valuables and when he picked up a CD player to place in his sack, a strange, disembodied voice echoed from the dark saying, "Jesus is watching you." He nearly jumped out of his skin, clicked his flashlight off, and froze. When he heard nothing more after a bit, he shook his head, promised himself a vacation after the next big score, then clicked the light on and began searching for more valuables. Just as he pulled the stereo out so he could disconnect the wires, clear as a bell he heard, "Jesus is watching you." Freaked out, he shined his light around frantically, looking for the source of the voice. Finally, in the corner of the room, his flashlight beam came to rest on a parrot. Did you say that?" he hissed at the parrot. "Yep," the parrot confessed, then squawked, "I'm just trying to warn you." The burglar relaxed. "Warn me, huh? Who in the world are you?" "Moses," replied the bird. "Moses?" the burglar laughed "What kind of people would name a bird Moses?" "The kind of people that would name a Rottweiler Jesus." My next 4 footed buddy will be one of these, regardless of what the wife said about it looking kinda like Cujo. I don't see it, it's more of a bulldog/mastiff, although the name of the breed is a Cane Corso.  Until then, I have one of the best nut dogs out there. She blows rasberries a lot. Your dogs always look so happy Mark, apparently the pooches at the shelter like you. Eddie the lion.  Recently my daughter got out a braided rawhide wreath for Eddie, but he had to be patient and put on a show before he could have it. | ||

Naw... My little girl got creative while I was sleeping. There's a video of it too, just don't have a way to post it. You can tell he's having his patience tried when you see the vid. He's a good dog. Those brindle "paint jobs" look great on a basenji. Good luck with that one, hope it works out for the best! | ||

Vamps- that "frenemy" pic is priceless! Had a good "interview" with "Joey" today- a week out from Wednesday I may bring him in for a week to "test drive" him. Beautiful Basenji, great markings, very calm and collected even here in a new place, got along fine with our mutt Chloe... Now, gotta contemplate the $200 to adopt, then the $$$ for fencing in the backyard... Having to use my GF's computer, mine died yesterday (on my Bday no less), so if I can find a way to post a couple of pics, will do... | ||

So it's official. We have been inducted into the Foster Failure hall of fame  Zodiac, our latest foster pup has now joined the clan forever. She is a staffy cross with plenty of puppy-ful enthusiasm and loves mischief. We couldn't part with her, and she seemed so at home here. She has claimed the beanbag, bed and the cat. So without further ado...our latest furry family member!    | ||

Not sure if it works the same from a cell Squids, but from a normal pc, you just click on upload attachment tab below (under action) and should allow you to browse pics. As long as they are the right size, upload it and the window will close once it's ready. | ||

anybody feeding Blue Buffalo? Its high dollar but from what I understand it has a lot less "fillers" and you don't need to feed as much. Less fillers, more digested = less poo in the yard to pick up I hope! We are going to give it a try... | ||

Wolf that's what we feed our kids. In the long run its actually cheaper cause they get and stay fuller longer, therefore not eating as often. With as many dogs as we have, I can't attest to less poo! But many happy, very healthy dogs with great coats of fur can't be wrong! | ||

We tried it but it made Eddie sick to his stomach, he's pretty sensitive to diet changes though so I can't say much. He has pooped less since he's been on other high quality foods, Bil-jack and Ultra. | ||

we will ease them into their diet change.....but, My wife has been on the web and found a bunch of bad reviews. so I'm kinda on the fence... I'm going to give it a try and I'll let you know how it works out. |
