I'd love to see a 26" version of the 70's Schwinn Scrambler, with a big set of knobbies or a slick rear and a banana seat for adults. I would possibly buy one.

The neighborhood in 3.5 minutes.
I'm doing this twice a day with the Doogle

Ape hangers fitted, fabricated a bracket to get the front light up off the forks too.

Suitably Rat Finked

Good lights installed

Just waiting on a wireless cycle computer to be in stock at my bike shop. This one is junk.

It's taller than my KLR now. Tres comfy. Doogle likes it a lot - he runs beside very happily on our afternoon ride.

Lost 8lbs so far.

Looks cool DD! The shop where I bought my 29er Mountain bike sells electra's too, may just have to make some inquiries...

DD- I'd mentioned it before, you GOTTA pitch the reflectors... RF is gonna roll in his grave! As far as the TWO mirrors, might be more sano with one, hard to judge that...

Otherwise, VERY nice! Roll on, mate!

Adams, hahaha- nice bell!

I'd go for an antique "OOgaahh" horn, with old brass patina, or a new one painted black!

Yeah - agree about the reflectors being naff - but temps are pushing up here now and I ride a lot in the cool of evenings. Side-on it's the only thing a motorist can see of the bike. Plus it's a safety-nazi requirement. I need a white one for the front too.

The mirrors are to see that the dog has finished doing what a dog needs to do. They are K-mart junk, but do the job. Undecided about this one:

Agree with the bell too - I actually ordered this:

but it's out of stock. The small plain one will do till it's in.

Been looking around for a suitable horn. All I've found so far sounds like a kid's squeeze toy, rather than a Harpo Marx.

Old enough to afford any toy I want.

This is about getting some exercise, it's still riding, but you have to do more than just twist your wrist.

Making it enjoyable and fun makes it a lot easier to do something that I HAVE to do.

Because I'm old enough that if I don't I'll be as round as I am tall in no time.

Hopefully some of the others with weight issues will be similarly inspired and enjoy the ride.

It's probably a good thing that Nirve doesn't have a dealer near me...I'd have to own one of these...

Safety nazi requirement?! As in the govt.?

Dang.

I'd opt for a reflective tape bead on the rims- they make black even- might be a little time intensive to get it right, but better than those cheesy reflectors. Otherwise, they make some cool battery-powered LED valve stem caps that light up with rotation... in my mind they'd also remind you to check tire pressure more often...

Just my $.02. Good on ya for the RF'in!
