Ditch the reflectors, add playing card w/ clothespin... Sweet! I've got an early 80's era Schwinn "Twintour" tandem that I've been thinking about selling... |

Mine is well padded - part of the reason for a new pushbike. The last 3 months in Auckland were a farewell lunch and booze-a-thon and the first 6 weeks in Aus we had no cooking stuff so ate a lot of take-aways. I put on 30lbs. Been on the shrink for 3 weeks and dropped 5 already. Bike will help a lot. |

It's an Electra 'Straight 8' http://www.electrabike.com/Bikes/cruiser-bikes-ele ctra With aftermarket LED head and tail light upgrade. I was tempted by the Rat Fink, but the 8 is funky cool I thought too. It's also very comfortable and the 3-1/2 inch tires handle great. |

Just noticed the disc front, kewler! Only prob I can think of now, is it's so cool you're gonna need a good lock, and that F's up the cool if you use a frame mount... Might get an "AAOOGAH" horn, mebbe a cowbell... |

I think the front hub is Shimano Nexus Roller hub (really sweet drum) and what you see that looks like a disk is the cooler for the hub. I think the rear is the 3 speed internal nexus. |

Yeah - Shimano call it a 'Hub Brake'. 3 speed rear hub too. Horn - yes - and I think it needs an old school speedometer, not so sure about the Banana seat, I do ride it a fair distance. It would be hard to stoppie - the frame is designed for wheel rear bias. |
