...gets posted on BadWeB!  D 'n me were in Las Vegas on Valentine's Day, taking care of a little personal business, and that night we hooked up with some very dear Buelligans at Dick's Last Resort. It saddens me to report it wasn't long before we got kicked out of the place, but NOT before we got some pix of the carnage, courtesy of my son Wade.    Charlieboy, shreddin' on his 100-oz. guitar   This is our waiter (while we were still considered valued customers) making his mama proud, and Denise practicing to become a TSA agent...  Charlieboy and Eliz - let the lap dances begin!  So we're having a good time (as proof, look no further than the world's tallest margarita I'm working on...), and a hysterically funny fellow by the name of The Balloonatic shows up and starts building Denise an inflatable 'something.' At this point we don't know what it is.  Still don't know, although Denise is now holding part A.  Still not sure, although it's starting to look a little bit humanoid.  Oh no, it's got a chubby!!  It's the world's happiest monkey!  Um, Denise???   FB rubbing some wood on Unibear's head for good luck!  And lastly, Charlieboy getting ready for a little funky-monkey business as Eliz looks on. It's hard to imagine a happy bunch of idiots like us overstaying our welcome at such a fine establishment, but, well, that's why there are so many bars in Las Vegas - there's always another one 50 feet away that's willing to take your money. As of late Monday Ebear was doing just fine... We were the last two standing sometime deep into the weeeee hours... after starting at what was it? About 1pm? Last I saw he was high tail'en it when the working girl zeroed in on us... smart move on his part but left me to fend (or fiend?) for myself! At least this time I made it to my room ok and the morning after was not so nearly Legendary as Show Low was.I had a great time and loved seeing everybody again. And it was a very nice Wedding! And you two make a great couple! Congrats! | ||

My Congratulations to you both again, this was probably the most unique and definetely the most memorable Wedding I've ever attended!Hope everyone made it home OK,as I just arrived home here in Colorado not an hour ago. So, allow me to explain to the "uninitiated" just what Ferris's eloquence metes out to. "DICKS, The Last Resort" also known in Vegas as "The Shame of the Strip" is a chain of establishments that are "Bar-appetizer-live entertainment places.But of a unique kind. The bar tenders and waiters are expected to be obnoxious, loud, rude, socially unacceptable and filthy mouthed, as are YOU.There T-shirt reads "They may Have HOOTERS but we got DICKS!"The middle finger and the "F" word are used often and it gets really ROWDY ...as you could imagine. Mind you, WE were "86'd" from this place! OH Yeah...celabrating F,B&D's nuptials. An EPIC day, indeed. Thanks for 'having' me you two and a lifetime more of memories are most certainly ahead.Pics WILL follow!  | ||

I've already said congratulations, but congrats again. And thank you for putting the video up 'unlisted.' Tripmeter said 1043.1 miles round-trip. Roughly half on Sunday and half on Tuesday. Worth every mile to see my old friend (and his new wife, and some other old friends) again. | ||

Well heck, it's probably been about 3 or 4 years since I've posted anything here on Badweb (under a previous alias), but Vegas was epic enough to bring me out from the rock I live under.  First off; congrats to Mr. and Mrs. FB - I was "inebriated" (inside joke) but I meant everything I said at Dick's.  Second; Unibear, Ebear, Danny and Mr. and Mrs. Charlieboy - it was a privilege and an honor to be bounced from Dick's with you all. Mr. Jim Corso offered to pay my bail money if I got into trouble in Vegas, and for a minute or two I thought that might be an actual possibility. It was one helluva night though (made possible by endless rounds of tequila, Irish Carbombs, Jager and God knows what else). I know you all hold me dear in your heart for capturing evidence of the epicness (Danny, you're welcome for the "unlisted" Lady Gaga rendition). Sorry I had to bail early on the remaining hooligans, but the jet lag/alkie mix finally caught up to me  Anyways, it was fun ladies and gents - let's do it again sometime, eh?
