Ken, I think you mean another flying female....  Blake is firm in his beliefs and I for one don't feel the need nor inclination to change that. I have absolutely zero problem ignoring someone who may irritate me. Maybe that comes from years of Mothering. Ha Ha. As my Mom always said, It takes 2 (or 10) to argue, so to accuse one of being more wrong than another is silly. Keep in mind that this is Blake's playground. You are welcome to gather up your toys and go home, but he is home. I think that taunting someone, no matter the topic is inviting a lively debate at the least. That can happen as long as you realize that you are just airing your beliefs and opinions and not changing someone else's. No need to get angry, emotional or belligerent. Now, OFF WITH HIS HEAD! In another thread I think I saw Blake cite 125 new members this month. At least 5 of those are mine. Now he he just has to guess which ones are mine? National, international travel and accommodating friends in all 50 states does have some advantages not really, all that does is bring into question what sort of a life you have? if i was traveling all over, i sure wouldnt be worrying about bad web so much that i had to make up fake id's just to whine. id be out enjoying the country. seems like maybe youve lost sight of the good things in life? | ||

With the clarification that there's nothing sour about justice!  She also helps too keep me in line. Which means she's principled.  Tim, One thing I notice when it comes to threads going falling off-topic into religious debates is that invariably it is virtually ALWAYS the anti-religious folks who initiate it with some snide comment. I can't recall a thread where the converse is true. I might have missed one. On politics, it seems to be more the right wingers, but certainly not in every case. We do have some pretty sneaky trolls show up from time to time. They're on the radar. Not talking about the guy here who posted his commentary on me. He's harmless and mildly amusing. I agree with your assessment in that case. Investing so much time and effort towards negative antagonistic pursuits has gotta really take a toll on the soul. | ||

I do my fair share of trolling, although I try to keep my comments more toward the cerebral versus the inflammatory. Many of you have seen me literally go off like a shotgun when some idiot instigates... but somehow I keep from getting banned and I've only gotten one "advisory" PM from Blake that I can remember. As for traveling from state to state with the intended purpose of being able to be a post-whoring troll, that speaks volumes about the individual doing it in and of itself. You can all tell when I'm busy because I simply don't post. Then sometimes I'm on like gangbusters. I don't carry the laptop in the van even though I have interwebz access because I'm not one of those drivers who lollygags and sleeps for days after driving a few thousand measly miles. I'm in it to win it, can't get paid unless the wheels are turning, and I like getting home on a regular basis. On that note, it's a beautiful day and I am taking my girl and her daughters to the park. | ||

Just to set the record straight 0 I don't really see myself as a troll primarily though certainly at times that label does fit. To me this is more of a competition. Although the custodian makes lofty claims of encouraging thoughtful debate, its nothing more that a soapbox for a personal agenda. I've said it before under various login names but I'll say it again - I really don't care what anybody believes (in regard to their religious faith)but when they trot out ridiculous and stilted trail of "logic" to try to prove a point that can't be proven and simultaneously proclaims the nonbelievers are "attacking" his faith I just can't let it go. Silly rabbit. But instead of choosing the high road ( point-counterpart style) he chooses to threaten to suspend privileges and block the users ISP. Then if someone like me doesn't go crawling away, he carries out the threat My latest postings here are just to show that doesn't work. I'm by no means an internet genie. Most 12 year olds I know know more about it than I do. Yet even I can figure out how to back in here time after time. I've lost track of the logins I've established then been kicked out on. I'm guessing 6 or 7 maybe. Every time I post something like this I lose another login. No worries, I've already got another 9 0r 10 in the mill and I pick up another one every week or so. It's gotten so I have to write them down to keep track of the login names, the email accounts they are linked to, and what part of the county ( or world) I'm saying I'm from. I think I've already proven that blocking someones ISP doesn't work. I thought about using the scores of public WiFi places that must be within 10 minutes of home but as yet I haven't even had to leave the house. I have no doubt that this is a game I'll ultimately lose. The custodians have been able to raise the bar and take away a couple options for me but so far i've been able to find work-arounds Like I said, it's just a game, just a challenge and I'll take it as far as my limited abilities allow. When I ultimately lose, or it just stops being fun I'll quit. But so far that hasn't happened yet. Some people watch TV, carve wooden decoys, go bowling or collect stamps for fun. Not me. So until Blake says something else crazy, I still be here checking out the other threads and posting now and again ( though undoubtedly under a few different logins ) I'd ask if there are any questions, but they;d have to be really good ones for me to sacrifice another login. So if you ask a question don't be surprised if I don't answer. Any statement I'd post about has to have an inflammatory of just-plain-stupid content that so far only Blake can muster. Off to southern Italy this week - so ciao, y'all oh, by the way, although the custodians didn't delete all of my posts yesterday but they did delete some so as well as suspending the "bjwinhausen" account so as for the bet I put out _ I'd call it a draw | ||
