Understand that it usually premiers on a Thursday nights, but this is all we have to go on at the moment. Confirmed Time Warner here in SE Wisconsin has the premier Saturday 1:00 PM local time. Check your local listings http://www.history.com/shows/sliced/episodes#slide -15 All Terrain Premiere Date: 06/19/2010 In 1909, the first off-road vehicles crawled across snow-bound roads in Russia. Today, millions of people ride high-powered machines to burn around curves, skim over waves, and churn through mud. To find out what they're capable of, John's putting the pedal to the metal on a Jet Ski, an ATV, and a racing motorcycle. He'll slice open the secrets to their power and speed. |

I wish I could be watching, but at the same time I hate the show how things are butchered apart and destroyed, instead of dissected and checked out as to how they work. |

But he did interview "professional AMA Superbike Racer, Goeff May" with his no. 99 race bike (or a facsimile) which was cut up. It had the familiar flying pegasus decals on the body work as well as a big Sportbike Track Time decal on the swingarm. Actually, he cut up a tire, the seat, fairing, fairing support, instrument cluster, air box and the right side of the real gas tank (frame) which had big letters "SLICED BUELL" on the portion he cut off. |

When they showed the two bikes; 1 cruiser & 1 race bike - To me, when they decided to say lets Slice the race bike, it comes off as a compliment! Cruiser = yawn. Now this other bike = WTF! This thing is WAY cool. Let's see what makes it so Different... In ever sense! To me, that was a crafty slap in face! Coincidence? ...I think not. |

it felt a little like a show geared to seven year olds. Lets look at this, wow, I cut it open and here is the inside, now imagine.... My nephew loved it, I told him to stay away from the bikes with a die grinder if he ever wants to ride anything in the garage again. |

I think a lot of people would be shocked at the buell technology. We do know that the fuel is in the frame. I tell people that and they give that response "WOW YOU MEAN THATS JUST THE AIRBOX!!!" |

I don't like the premise of the show. A viewing of an exploded parts diagram would do the trick. Perhaps they could throw in some CAD drawings. Cut-away models are cool, on a component level. Destroying a working piece of equipment is a load of crap. However, he did go on about how most bikes carry their fuel high, and this one carried it in a mass centralized place. Same with the exhaust, and that other manufacturers were copying the placement, so I think it was an overall "good thing". He must have been briefed on the Trilogy. |

I am just pissed my interviews didn't make it in. I talked all about how I came up with the idea to make motorcycles in a barn, and Erik is just a face man you know. The mass centralization was my idea and I went along with his goofy front brake just to keep him happy. I gots a face for radio though and Erik make a better spokesmodel... |

Destroying a working piece of equipment is a load of crap. FYI the bike they 'sliced' was built of non-working parts. I am surprised Eddie didn't know that... |

"FYI the bike they 'sliced' was built of non-working parts." The other vehicles he destroyed appeared to be the fully functional ones that he was riding earlier in the show. Cutting up the Buell isn't why I didn't care for the show. If the intent of the show is to educate, there are better visual methods than destroying things. It seemed to me as I watched that the intent was just to cut stuff up as a sight gag, not to really discover what makes things work. |

No it's not, well, not entirely. It's the Erik Buell Racing muffler, but the headers are stock, and that's definately not the mid-pipe/collector that comes witht the full system. Possibly a custom, or one off for the show? |
