TWO is now closed and will never reopen. The bum that had a lease on the property has not paid his rent for two years and the contract has been pulled. The property will be donated to the county. So I am told by a friend who lives in the area. | ||

Interesting, as Britt and GT Turner are shown as the owners on the tax records. Let's hope that TWO is not closed. Maybe someone from the 3%er's will chime in with some info. | ||

is the Dragon closed down because of storm damage? If so was that the reason might be closing? I've never been there but I have always wanted to go and ride the roads in the area. I hope it's closing is only temporary. | ||

TWO is no where near the Dragon. The Dragon was closed due to rock slide. | ||

First I've heard of it. They did have legal issues a few years back, but not over this sort of thing. As far as I know Brit & GT OWN T.W.O. so there would be no lease. Where did this news come from? | ||

US 129 is closed from the rock slide at the north end of "the Dragon", but you can still ride the Dragon from the NC side. You just have to turn around and ride it twice. Not such a bad thing. County businesses in NC got TN to agree to this after a while, to keep their tourism alive. | ||

Sure doesn't look that way here... I was concerned when I looked at their FB page earlier; no recent posts. I called earlier and didn't get an answer, or leave a message, figured they already have some. Just now though, I see they posted an hour ago. I feel better. | ||

I still want to know where this came from. I've not been able to get in touch with Brit or GT, but let me assure you, that's not abnormal. Buelltoberfest is still on. The first weekend of October. Unless GT tells me different, T.W.O. will still be the HQ. | ||

"I heard it on the internet so it must be true" I guess I'm dead, but don't know it yet...  Enough Buell riders have been by this season to have dispelled that rumor.
