Clean lines no fluff, unlike a 'Busa.

Not bad for a 23 year old design. I'd own it!

And check the rear brake, looks like a ZTL.

That is one of the coolest bikes I've ever seen! The brake is definitely a perimeter brake, but I highly doubt it's ZTL. That's why EB/HD has the patents on ZTL- a system that allows a perimeter rotor to "float".

Isn't a perimeter brake by definition a ZTL, as in Zero Torsional Load transmitted through the wheel spokes? It wouldn't be patent infringement for a prototype, but they would have to pay licensing fees if they wanted to put it on a production bike. Sure looks like a floating rotor to me too. A rotor that size almost has to float.

wouldn't be the first time someone stole one of EB's licks... wonder how it runs through the turns.... very 'tron-like'.

Heh, reminds me of the Ford Taurus they dressed up in RoboCop as the 'car of the future'. I think they called it the S.U.X. 3000; it had similar lines and aluminum paint scheme.

That was the 6000 SUX. A '77 Olds Cutlass Supreme

The police cars were '85 Taurus.

That's right, and it had the mid-eighties Cutlass hubcaps too. Why did I like that movie so much in my youth?

Also, shouldn't EB be getting some royalties for the ZTL setup on that bike?

It's listed as shown at the '86 Tokyo Motorshow.

Methed, They didn't put them in production so I doubt it. Did Erik even have a patent on them back then? If so that should have expired years ago.

The Nuda was a cool concept. It and the RADD inspired many dreams. I still love single sided suspensions.

Actually the more I look at it, the more it reminds me of the Goldfish snacks.

In the first pic, you don't see the business end of the single sided forks...

It reminds me of that cheesy 80's movie "Cyclone". If Heather Thomas wasn't in it,I wouldnt have been able to finish watching it.
