The other vehicles he destroyed appeared to be the fully functional ones that he was riding earlier in the show.

Could have been, but word around Erik Buell Racing is that the sliced Buell was non-functioning...

And the guy on the show is a total knob!

Perhaps I'm just too sensitive. I imagine that if you're the one actually building these things and have seen hundreds of parts go in the bin for one reason or another, one more doesn't phase you.

He lost me when he pointed to the 4 cylinder Jet Ski motor, and said "see, this is a four stroke". Sigh.

Doesn't anybody fact check anything anymore? My 9 year old knows better.

That threw me too. He kept asking why the jet ski was faster than the boat? Easy dumb arse, it's got a 1300cc two-stroke in it. No, he went on an on about the boat having to "dig in" and get up on plane. Pretty sure that's a power/weight/draft/surface area equation.
