Hey everyone, I'm not one usually to ask for help with anything. But I wanted to pass this along. My wife is will be participating in this year's relay for life. The Relay for Life is a fund raiser linked with the Susan G. Komen foundation supporting Breast Cancer Research. Her grandmother at age 68 was diagnosed with breast cancer. After 6 months of radiation and chemotherapy, she was luckily able to defeat this awful disease. My grandmother was also diagnosed with breast cancer in her late fifties. She too was able to pull through it. We have been very lucky. I now have three young daughters. I fear that one day they or my wife will have to face this horrible sickness. That is why I am posting this. I want to do everything I can to keep my kids from having to go through it.

If you wouldn't mind, a donation to our Relay for Life effort would go a long long way. You can donate here!

Thank you so much. If the moderators wouldn't mind making the subject line red or something, that would be great.

Jeez, you nearly gave me a coronary.

I thought TATA were going down the tubes, they saved LandRover & Jaguar when Ford did the dirty on them.

Come on guys, every little bit helps. Think of the TaTas in your own homes. This disease isn't selective. Young, old, black, white, it doesn't matter. Breast Cancer kills. Let's stop it!

Hey, its no joke. Some think its lop off a breast or two, get some implants (or not), then go on with life (hopefully). It just aint that simple. The cure can be worse than the disease and the closer you are to it, the more you see how devastating it can be.

But it really helps if you CAN laugh about it ; )

Donation Made.

My sister has had a scare.
And men, dont think you are immune from it. If it runs in your family, get a screening.

Definitely no joke, that is for sure.

My Mom and Sister were diagnosed in the same week in October 2008.

My Sister is a survivor, but my Mom passed away after a hard fought battle. She passed on her 67th Birthday, 9/10/2009.

Indy, I will do my best to donate.

I am very happy to hear your stories of Survival!!

What is everybody gay? Come on, just a little donation.
.
.
.
Okay, so you are gay. Its cool, but you must have a mother, sister, 'friend'?
.
.
.
You've spent a lot of time working on those "manboobs". You dont want to lose one to cancer do you? And how are you gonna explain to your friends that you needed an implant so they match again?

I support "tata's" and type 1 diabetes. My step son was diagnosed two years ago. It's a serious and complicated diesese. But "tata's" are better to look at than insulin shots 3 times a day.

Support what you know first, support what you see second, but most of all support something.

Thanks Guys!

Come on Badweb! We are raising money to protect something we all love! I've seen us put together much more than $20 for this vary cause several times. I told my wife that I would post this thread, and she would be surprised by the support we received. Don't make a liar out of me!

Save the Ta-Ta's.

Some of us have given multiple times to the cause as requested here on BadWeB. I think this would be number 5 for me in the past year. So please don't confuse lack of enthusiasm among BadWeBrs with lack of charity. It may be that you are just a little late to the effort.

But good luck, and walk hard! : D

Doing the Susan G three day here again this year. Walking 60 miles with my girl, for my mother that has passed, and for my sister that had a scare. Saving the boobies that are near and dear. But not getting implants myself.

I am a firm breast supporter! I don't know a red blooded American male that isn't a supporter of healthy breasts! It's the on thing that men and women can agree on, healthy breasts are a wonderful thing.

but seriously, my wife does a Susan Koman 60 mile walk every year, and I volunteer for the Relay for Life to help the Cancer cure and prevention cause. Because I do, and donate also, I feel like I'm entitled to a little breast humor......

I did hear that there was a guy that got implants from a lost bet.

I figured it was no longer original ; )
