Performance Mods!: | Vance & Hines exhaust |
Problems/Miles (Please be specific): | Intake boot 3800 miles. New exhaust around 3900 miles. Stock exhaust broke off at the head. Popping, Missing, Occasionaly Dies 4000mi replaced ignition module problem solved. New tires 4000 miles. Re-jet the carb. at about 4200 miles 45/175 and backed out the air/fuel screw, also EZ's airbox mod. That should have been the first thing I done. New hand grips. 4500 miles |
Other Mods/Misc/Customization.: | Custom lathed gearshift peg thanks to my girlfriend dropping my baby. |
Favorite Rides (Roads and Routes): | SR-4 to Long Beach, WA. About 150 miles round trip of twisty, turney road. Spirit Lake Hwy. to Mount St. Helens. A beautifel ride about 180 miles round trip more twisty roads surrounded by trees opening up into the ever reforming mountian. |
Why I do/don't ride a Buell: | I love my bike I bought it with 2800 miles on it had no problems till now |
How can Buell improve their motorcycles?: | Have parts a little closer to the west coast. Waiting a week for an intake boot is sucky. A better transmission, or at least a better transition from neutral into first and then into second. |
