BRP is pretty BIG. I was thinking along the same lines. Buell would be a nice addition to their 3-wheelers. I would just bet Buell/ H-D owes BRP a good piece of coin for tooling etc. on the Helicon engine!

Rotax doesn't make bikes, they've been around long enough that if they wanted to make a line of Rotax machine, they would have done so by now. Not saying it is not possible, but I don't think they want to go into complete machines (at least not in the USA).

Rotax doesn't make vehicles, but their parent company does.

This was the first thing that came to my mind....sell Buell to BRP/Rotax.

What a match made in heaven. With all of their expertise from the BMW and Aprilia years, plus the snowmobile and ATV knowledge. They have access to a dealer network.

I just keep refreshing my browser and hoping to see a post on here saying Buell has been saved.

Rotax couldn't buy Buell because H-D ain't selling. Simple as that.

Greg:
Yeah they don't make 2 wheeled bikes but, have you ever seen their Spyder.

Besides they have an great deal of manufacturing and assembly experience. If BMW, Buell, Aprilia, just to name a few trust BRP to build for them, they probably have the experience and expertise!
