Buellgirlie,

You came through Tulsa and didn't even stop to say hi!!?? The heck with you.

(Just kidding! )

Prez,

There is another Bueller in Tulsa that I do not know about? I thought I had them all rounded up. Come check us out in the stormfronts section. We are the Tulsa Riders down at the bottom of the page.

See ya around,

Drake

No snow here in the Houston area, but it's been down in the mid 20's every night for about a week. This is rather unusual here.

Last year I think it got down to 32 degrees one night for a few hours in all of last winter.

I'm not too big a fan of riding my Buell when it starts getting below 50 degrees, so I've been having to settle for just making a lot of noise in the garage, claiming to be "just checking my battery". (-:

Too bad I just put on new tires, brake pads, plugs, oil and primary fluid, and cleaned my K&N right when it got cold. I usually ride year round here. What the heck happened?!?

When I got stationed back here in Corpus, I brought the Northeastern Winter with Me..

Blame the Yank...

FWIW, I would still be riding if I could get a new set of cylinders, and gaskets.. oh well..

FTD - Do you know a Fred Rabe from Orlando? He's Pres of the Nautique owner's club & a wakeboarding friend of mine.

I was 52 when this pic was taken on the Delaware river.

Preach it cousin. I've stole 3 different cars out of the family parking lot this week to avoid riding to work -- kids are catching on now and hiding the keys.

i told ann last night, i don't care how cold it is, when i'm able to ride again, i'm ridin'!
she said it couldnt happen soon enough for her!

Steve,

I don't know Fred? I do live 4 houses(docks) away from Dallas Friday and Gregg Necrasen is right down the street and uses the ramp next to my house routinely. I live on Lake Holden just south of downtown Orlando. If you ever make it down here we need to go riding. I ride Wed.'s pretty much year round.

this ain't supposed to be!
just in case y'all see this after it warms up it says 19o.
we usually only see that in jan or feb for a short bit.
i don't see how y'all deal with the winter weather where this is the norm or "ain't so bad."
i love the south!

Last night in my next of the woods, it got down to 2 degrees Farenheit. Factor in the windchill and it was between -10F and -20F depending on gusts... : D

I remember one year when I was in Junior High, it was around -20F before the windchill and -50 to -60 with the windchill. The governor canceled school for the entire state. That was sweet. All the kids went sledding on the hill behind the school that day. LOL
