I feel safe speaking for all Texas Buell motorcycle enthusiasts, in saying that our worst fears have been realized. We therefore hereby request to all our friends up North that you please keep your disgusting miserable cold weather to yourselves! I don't own a decent Winter coat anymore, and I'd like to keep it that way!
I just last week harvested our last tomatoes and peppers of the year and planted our Autumn garden! This is entirely unacceptable! |

What is this "snow shovel" of which you speak? Snow seems much to weak and flimsy a material from which to fashion any kind of a shovel. |

Jaime, Beware, it was near 80oF here yesterday. It may have been our southern gloating that set forth this horrible retribution. |

Rumor is that if only Dave S. would eat a bowl-full of boiled okra, we would be spared this torment. We are doomed. |

Hmmm, it seems you are receiving the storm that just blew through New Mexico. Dropped a measly inch of snow in Albuquerque, but dropped the temps in the teens. Still didn't stop me from riding to a PGR misson though. You should invest in some electrics, Blake, in case it does venture down your way again! |

WOW, that stinks, snow in texas! I'll have to call up my relatives and rub it in their faces like they usually do to me. I'm enjoying high 60's here in New York! I got family in Tyler, Palestine, & Fairfield. It looks from the map, like they might get hit too. |

Blake, we are having a very nice Indian Summer here in Ohio. Why in the hell did the riders out west had to go press that button? We warn you guys to leave it alone! But noooo, you had to check it out and now your mess is heading our way. Is this a plot because the BUCKEYES beat Texas this year? |

At 10 PM last night I was jogging across campus in shorts and a t-shirt. It was 78 degrees. When I left for work this morning at 07:30, it was 33 degrees and raining here at Sam Houston State University (60 miles north of Houston). |

Funny thing, I sometimes love being a relocated Yankee, down here in Corpus Christi... Watching everyone freeze.. windchill of 36, and temp, of 44.... This is too funny... Chase |

+1 w/Blake. It's been hovering around 70 degrees here in HI. What's up w/that?! If it doesn't hit 80 soon, I'm asking for a refund. |

Well Blake its starting to SNOW heavily here, I was in your neighborhood last Fri & Sat (Hooks,Tx and Amarillo) and yes the weather was awesome. Put the plow on tonite, the same truck I drove to Tx with last week. Will be plowing in a few hours. Oh well 3 months til Daytona! Lots of prep to do, this weather just encourages more garage time |

Your #$%! screen name is #$%! "Coolice". Stay the #$%! out of Texas! Hooks is just a hundred or so miles up the road. Amarillo is a bit more of a piece away, close to 500 miles out yonder. I hear it gets seriously cold thereabouts. Chase, I'm a relocated Yank as well, but I'm entirely assimilated from a long ways back. I was just outside for a moment to check on the garden and thought for a second, "if I can't get back inside in short order, I will die out here!" Instead of a 50 caliber Hawken rifle like Hatchet Jack had frozen in hand, they'd find me with a garden hoe. LOL. The wind chill is at 13oF! |

Oh poor babies, my heart bleeds custard for you. Rode the Buell to work this week as I didn't need all the stuff in the trunk of the old Benz, low 30s in the mornings, mid 40s afternoon. Smell that fresh air!!!! Oh yeah, Bads, is that snow blower powered by gas? (Message edited by Mr_grumpy on December 01, 2006) |
