I agree Crusty. To a certain point. I, speaking for myself, was hoping for something different. I believe if you've ridden a S or Uly, you've pretty much have already ridden this bike. (Message edited by rocketsprink on November 14, 2006) |

i have a great idea i have been sitting on for awhile, i hope it translates well to the XB12STT, i have to admit i kind of like this bike, not perfect as i would prefer an SS sized bike with the Uly tail section with an S3 type fairing, but this would look good in my garage anyhow! i am pretty sure my paint scheme will be a love it or hate it style, but that seems to suit the bike so far!!! |

I am with Dave on this, no artistic talent whatsoever, and completely computer illiterate so even if I could draw I'd be sunk. My talents lean toward the mechanical side. |

What about if you have an idea but no artistic talent but you know someone that can bring it to life for you. I read the rules and it doesn't say you can't do that. |

Dave, I have what it need to do it but can't participate.... It's a shame because I like that bike. It's like my 9SX with more motor and more suspension travel. And the white body parts are perfect for me. It will not stay white for long with me! |

"A virtual blank canvas, three inexpensive, easily removable body components cry out to be personalized – a flyscreen, airbox cover, and two side number plates." Now if I wanted to be a REAL dick, I'd point out that 1 + 1 + 2 = 4} |

Photoshop questions, 1) How can I apply linear graphics that follow the contour of a 3D object in 2D to maintain the right perspective? 2) How do I keep the shading & highlights? I ran into this same problem when working on a helmet design. Thanks in advance, -Ras |

I like bridges but can not build them. (can burn em but that is another story) Anyway I can not enter bridge building contests because I can not use CAD. Damn these unfair contests! |

Dave, Since you've treated me so well over the years I'll make you a sweetheart of a deal on a bridge. In fact you can pick whatever bridge you like and I'll let it go at half price less 10%.

I just do not get it. We have seen countless Photoshop mock-ups posted here on this forum. The company notices it, provides us an empty canvas then tells us to go at it. By the way... if you make something really cool you may get a real one. Yet people must still moan and cry foul because they fear learning how to play. |

No one here is crying foul. Just a stupid contest, IMHO. It has H-D Promotion Department written all over it. AS I said above, good luck to all that enter. Personally, I hope Spidey wins! |

I don't seem to remember this kind of protest when the helmet design contest was announced. there was also a lot of accolades to the winner, a board member here. What's the problem? GOOD LUCK to all the board members that participate in this contest. I'm hoping we will be able to celebrate your victory with you. |
