For the Shootout Anonymous posters (and our loyal customers), I have some kind of distressing news. Al is being kidnapped today by our son to tour Miramar Naval Air Station in the afternoon. They're on a father/son outing. The only ransom mentioned at this time is a stress-free dad. We're trying to come up with it, but so far, no go... Your patience and well wishes are appreciated as he won't be working this afternoon on his numerous projects, sorry.

Gosh, thanks folks. I came back from the Mirimar MCAS tour with Zach and sat down to crunch on the audio files from the shootout. Joanne called from work and asked me what was new on badweb, but I hadn't looked, too busy. Now I know why Joanne told me to go look here.

It's officially #47. But I think I aged a full year in the dynoroom last weekend, between breathing hours of carbon monoxide and blowing out my ears. So I think I'll call it #48.

Thanks for the thought...I'm afraid it ain't happening, though. I'm a stress puppy these days, the annual April/May bikes-come-out-of-storage-all-over-the-northern-hemisphere business spike sees to that. It's a good problem to have, and I thank you all for that, but stressless it ain't, I'm afraid. We should have planned this shootout for November or so.

Daniel, you can call any time... And no, not just because every time you call, you end up buying something!

Welcome to the club. It beats being stressed over mundane stuff though, doncha think? It's been 30 years for Wes and Cycle Rama. 26 years for me....yes, I was a mere infant when I started...The stress doesn't lessen but it changes up a bit as you go along....or maybe you just lose your mind...hmmmm, probably the latter. That would explain alot in my case.
