Still have my '96 S1 high voltage yellow. It was my first bike ever. Bought it in '99. BTW, I also still have my first car, a 1979 Mustang Indy Pace car. Don't think I will ever get rid of either. Jeff |

I still have my 99S3, bought in October 99. I first found this place shortly thereafter, and only then knew that my life would be incomplete without a 98S1W. I Bought that in april 2000 with 94 miles on the clock, still have it, though I still haven't finished fixing it from a blown base gasket 2 years ago (hangs head in shame). But I have a good excuse, as I have the three bikes that came with the shop (96 S1, 95 S2, 03 XB9S) and have bought a Uly since. So the only reason that the S1W hasn't been fixed is because I have plenty of Buells to ride (and little time to ride them). I was thinking about selling the 99S3. But I took it on a ride recently and had a ball on it. The XBs are better in so many ways, but they are very precise, and almost twitchy. The tube frame bikes are amazingly easy to ride smoothly on. The XBs require a lot more precise inputs to be as smooth. So I guess I'm not putting the S3 on the block just yet. |

I've still got my sweet pearl white S2, purchased in November of 1994. 82k miles later and it's still a charmer. |

I bought my S1-W in August of '98 and have no intention of selling it. I bought my first bike in 1968 (BSA 441 Shooting Star) and when I think of all the neat bikes I had and sold over the years, it makes me very sad. The Buell will be with me forever. |

I still have my 2000 M2 purchased in July of 2000. The first thing I ever saw on the internet was Buell.com and the BadWeb is the first internet forum I ever joined. I was so new to the internet, I used my real name as my username! |

I still have my first and only Buell... my '98 S3T (sans bags, etc.)bought new. It's accumulated many, many happy miles. But I don't ride it as often now since I've taken to cruising slowly on my other bike. And that is a problem... because now that I'm used to the "cruiser", I manage to scare the cr** outta myself every time I get on the Buell! Steve (Message edited by Smadd on February 02, 2006) |

Smadd, Trying to stir up old controversy by mentioning that happy dyno Ramanated S3 of yours? Troublemaker! Pammy, I hate for you to mention your X1 here any more! On account of it frightens me to even think about it! |

I'm taking it to Daytona again this year. I got a call a couple of days ago requesting that we come to the Dyno shootout. (They made a last minute decision to have it this year.) You know the Yellow Beast is truly a Dyno Queen.(it scares me too)So I gotta go. If Smadd was any kind of friend, he would make an effort to make Daytona this year.... |

Still have my 95 S2, bought new in March of 95. Currently running at Bonneville, but technically street legal. If we ever get the record it gets a motor tranplant and goes back on the road!! hard to believe that 11 years have gone by. |

My '99 M2 is still beside the Uly. It hasn't been started in over a month, but tonight I just had to try it. Even after sitting a month, it still starts better than the Uly. 42,000 miles on the Odo, I bought it with 26,000 Mother's Day 2004. So far it has been in FL, GA, KY, MD, NC, OH, SC, TN, VA, WV. Not bad for an old Tuber. |

I still have mine, but i just bought it last year. 2003 xb9r It will always be a special bike for me, not only because of what the bike is, but because I purchased it to congratulate myself on getting back into good enough shape to ride. I bought it less than a year and a half after my (former) doctor told me I'd never walk again. |

"Trying to stir up old controversy by mentioning that happy dyno Ramanated S3 of yours? Troublemaker!" What was it? Some kind of "fairy dust" or something that the dyno was sprinkled with? I guess those kind of numbers, back then, were hard to believe... by a select few! Pammy... I'd love to make it to Daytona. I know "seat-of-the-pants" is hardly accurate... but it seems the S3 is as strong as ever... maybe even more so! I'd probably enter it in the "high mileage shootout" category, if there was one! But we're right in the middle of this "house business" and unless there were some major "advancements", this year would be difficult. Anyway... have fun... and I'll be thinking 'bout you guys! Blake, AMI and the first Friday in March, is what I believe to be so. I think mine is the only one we are taking because it's the only one we can have ready in time. We have a lot of stuff going on here right now. Steve, you need to get your hiney down here. A long weekend wouldn't monkey the works too badly. Anyway it has been a while since I have had the old Dyno-Queen out and about. I can't wait. |
