People all over the world are laughing about other people-that's the way it is!Being too fat, being to skinny, being too tall, being too small,or even being too beautiful-whatever.
Just harmless jokes.
If someone never did, he/she could cast the stone.

When I was young, lot of people laughed at me, because I was very skinny.
But I changed it,because I wanted to.Most of us have the choice to alter.Where's the will,there's a way,IMO.
Regards,Xl

Damn you! Now that I learned a new word, I had to forget something to make room for it. Hope it wasn't anything important. Who runs this crazy place anyway?

Blake -- I'm bettin you can no longer do quadratic equations in yer noggin, nore balance yer checkbook in hex any more...

compared to being able to correctly interject the word "avast" into causal conversation, a good trade, methinks

I'm a lean 6' and 175lbs now, but I grew up very fat - I didn't lean out until high school. I know what it's like to be made fun of because your weight.

Shame on all you people who made fun of this guy. Believe me, it's an insight into your character.

"Shame on all you people who made fun of this guy. Believe me, it's an insight into your character."
I agree, and would add the good news that once one is able to recognize one's character flaws, one may then defeat them. : )

To those cold-hearted folks who are apparently unable to empathize, I hope your mother, father, brother, sister, wife, or friend is never ever made the but of a cruel joke in any venue, let alone a public one. There is a HUGE difference in poking good natured fun at groups of people in general versus posting a person's photo on the internet in a public venue and waging cruel jokes upon him/her. I have a friend and neighbor who would likely fit well into those leathers. He is a better man than those who would make him the butt of their cruel jokes.

I hope y'all will come to recognize that such callous ridicule at the expense of another is not a positive thing, for anyone.

I removed the photos, should have done so immediately. Shame on me. I left the thread. Shame on you.

If I knew the guy & called him friend I would have a neverending supply of jokes but I don't so I won't. In my family we only cut on the people we know & like. It's like a form of respect in a twisted kind of way : )

Weight doesnt have an affect on top speed. It only affects the acceleration. So it would take that guy longer to reach top speed, but he would get it. Thats assuming the road was long enough.

The DUDE is in Leathers, All Leather! It is like seeing Andrea The Giant on a bike. If he didn't want the attention hew would not be on it, out in it and runnin it.

Blake,
You know after thinking about it, I am glad I do live in a country that at least lets me voice my freedom of speech (personal Opinions) and it try's to keep the censorship down to a minimum.

Wish it extended to the all the forums, but we can't always get what we want. Especially when not paying to support it.

Good job on leaving the thread, it least it gives the sheep a similitude of choice.

btw, Looking forward to riding with you in Jan. down here in Big D.

"If you don't have the cajones to say it to his face then you shouldn't say it at all."

I would have responded to this post which came just after mine sooner except I was in Federal way today and just got back. I live in eastern WA and Federal way is in Western WA. I was getting an EGD done on my stomach to check the condition of my esophogus. This is required by my surgeon as one of the requirements before he will perform Gastric bypass surgery on yours truly. This is a surgery my wife went through almost two years ago. I have inherited the "plump" characteristics of my fathers side of the family. My father, both his brother's and his sister are all Obese. I have had fun poked at me and so has my wife. sometimes not so fun to receive unless coming from friends. But thats life.
Although I don't know the man whom was in first photo or the person in the second now missing photo the one in which I said...
Damn... the army must me testing it's new two wheeled tanks!
I do believe we are all just having a little fun here are we not? No need for anyone to get bent out of shape. Lets think of the things we have all said about other anonymous pics of cycle riders, crashes, barely clad, no helmet, braking the law, ect...
Point is I am not some skinny person just poking fun at a fat person.

Hey Thang,

Interesting that you should make that comment on this thread. Before a writer ever picks up a pen or touches a keyboard, the outcome is influenced by one major trait, and that is his/her perspective.

I think that is being demonstrated very clearly here.

It would be my guess that changing one’s perspective is more difficult than eating salad three times a day.

And that’s all I’ll say about that.

Meanwhile, I’ll take your avastication advice. I found a little piece from a while back that you might enjoy, but it needs a bit of a rewrite. (My perspective is unchanged, but my skills aren't.)

Poking fun is great. I'm one of the biggest a-holes ever, but I won't say anything behind your back that I don't have the balls to say to your face. I'm around 270#, not slim but not ALL fat either. If your not a friend and decide to call me a fat @$$, you had better have something to back up your mouth. If your not my friend and I call you a fat @$$, it means I think your an idiot that needs your @$$ kicked. My point is, don't talk crap about someone unless you got enough balls to back up your mouth. (and preferably some reason to start the trouble in the first place). It's the same as when you flip someone off and then freak when they call your bluff and come after you. You run like a little girl and hope they can't catch you.
All that said, I think poking fun at a picture of some fat dude (or better yet a fat chick) on a little bike, on a forum such as this is what the internet is all about (okay back to me being an a-hole). I just won't be pissed or surprised when that fat bastered recognises my post and comes over and beats the tar out of me. After all, I did ask for it.
