everybody is wrong. becuase it all depend on what years!!!! a 2005 xl has the same xb style heads. and some sportsters are rubber mounted to the frame. and some older buells have the same HD heads and heavy flywheels. | ||

Gmc310: PM, 1313 He can prolly give you the straight scoop, others may include S2pengy, or Court. As I understand it the s2 motor is an XL motor the S1w has high flow heads lighter crank and different cams, the X1 has all of that and DDFI S3 had this as well (not sure about the crank there,) | ||

The Evo-type XL frame began in 1981, the older frame in 1952. | ||

The Evo 883 & 1100 Sportster, debuted in 1985 as a four speed. And when they finally upgraded to a five speed, the whole crankcase and the frame had to be changed. |
