If ya'll look under the word Ducati you'll see a black line. As the flash loads the line turns red. Once the line is 100% red it'll start for ya, the slower your connection the slower the loading... |

Two questions: 1. Where are the mirrors? 2. How much does it cost? |

1)Not needed for the photo op, they're probably just like the Mickey Mouse ears the XBS has. 2)If ya have to ask... |

I mean, if you are going to copy the Uly, you could at least get the muffler in the right place. Am I right, brothers? Through my contacts at Ducati Mecchanica, I was able to remove this top secret photo from the works, of the prototype Ducati Hemeroid. The big brass thought it was just too close to the Uly, even though everyone agreed it was better. Natcherly they used the latest model Drummer SS. Steve, Kevin, do you have any more details?

Obviously the success of the Uly and the appearance of the HP2 and KTM 950 has drawn attention from other motorcycle companies. The real question is, are the Japanese paying attention also? |

Xlcr,Ducati already had the Multistrada so I wouldn't say they got the ideal from Buell for a bike like this. |

Pretty, but a 1000DS engined Ducati won't worry a KTM 950. Wonder why they didn't pop for the Testra-whatever 8-valve motor for this rig? |

To quote the classic movie "Gum Ball Rally" In my best italian accent as I rip the rear view mirror off: "What's behind you is not important!" On another note, they are advertising a "Radial Mounted Single Front Brake Rotor" Hum, I've heard that term somewhere else before? Looks neat, but it's no Uly replacement. I would challenge anyone on one of these to do a "Ferris-style" ride across country. The Uly will win where it counts, sales!, it's just too well rounded of a bike for this Johnnie-Come-Lately. Though I will quote one of the directors of development at where I work. "Let them copy what we have done, by the time they get out on the market, we will have moved on." So Buell, what's next? Apparently you have the world's Motorcycle Manufactures attention, so what at you going to do with it? |

Ducati,Johnie come lately?Put the glass down and step away from the Kool-Aid. Though I will quote one of the directors of development at where I work. "Let them copy what we have done, by the time they get out on the market, we will have moved on." It seems to be working with the Ulysses.Ducati has had the Multi for a few years now. |

Nice! Interesting too. Just a single front rotor, 320mm with a 4-pot caliper. Only 385 lbs dry weight, and Ducati, skirting convention usually includes the battery in their dry weights. Definitely more in the realm of an HP2 but on the street side. Very cool though. |

By the way . . . I do like the looks of it. I've always been a sucker for that trellis frame and the bright red. |

I may be wrong, but I doubt it.What was out first, the Multi or the Uly?I have heard Buell buys a lot of Ducs,I wonder who is getting ideas from other manufacturers.Let the bashing begin. |
