Just curious who may be attending this event. I will be there with my 03 Firebolt ( NY license plate "BUELL9" ) and my girlfriend will be riding her 01 Blast ( NY license plate "BUELL5" ). I've not been on a BRAG Adventure since the Pocono Mountains ride in 2003. Had a great time and met some great people. Hoping this year will be the same and would like to meet some folks prior to the event. Anybody going and interested in contacting me, please do so. Look forward to meeting you. See link below. Happy riding - Dave http://www.buell.com/en_us/brag/adventures/2005/appalachian.asp |

what route are you taking to get there? I'm assuming your going down from NY right? Perhaps we could get a few bikes together for the ride there. |

I'm sorry to say I will miss it. The Buell is still damaged from my crash at Barber in July. for that matter, so am I. The splints come off my fingers (four on my left hand) the first week in October...which should coincide with my return to work from the hernia surgery I had in August. You guys have fun and post a ton of pictures! |

Fritz, I am afraid I am just a bit too long in the tooth to ride down from Eastern Long Island. I figure it will be about a 7-8 hour ride from here. That's about 4 or five too many for me:-) I will be trailering Ol' Yaller down on a little tilt trailer that Gerry and I just rebuilt. Don't tell anybody:-) |

Over 80 bikes are registered already according to the Brag office. It's a hoot. Gotta make it. Highlight of every Buelligan's riding year. |

I will be trucking both bikes down from Binghamton, NY. Definitely looking forward to the rides Wed. Thur. & Fri. My girlfriend (Sherry) is excited about participating as this is her first event. I was just hoping to get familiar with some of the folks that will be there. Thanks for the replies, see you all soon! |

M2nc - Carlos, have you ever been to one of these events before? If it's anything like Running the Ridge was last year, it will be a blast, but there won't be a huge number of people. Probably about 200 people will be there, not all of them riders. Heres last years group picture which will give you an idea of the size. Not everyone who came is in the shot, but it gives you an idea. I'm sure the BRAG organizers would like more people to come, but I think the fact that there weren't thousands of people there was one of the things that made it fun. |

Jim, This is my first National BRAG event so I'm excited about it. I have to agree with you, crowds can be fun, but I'd rather share mountain roads with a smaller group. The largest number of Buellers I've ridden with was at Suches were five of us were there, then the 3%ers came up to visit. It was fun running the mountain roads with eight to twelve Buells. Mike, great to have you back in the Buell family. I double Jnance's comment, get Jim to come along. Hope to see you there. |

I just did my first Brag ride up in Colorado a few weeks ago. I had a great time and met a lot of good people. Yall will have a good time. Most people seem to ride in smaller groups and meet at lunch and evenings for bs sessions... If I had more vacation time I'd be there too... I"m jealous...But wait till next year, I'll be planning vacation time around a couple of rides... Yall have a good time... Kevin |

I'll be there ready to TWIST 'N' SHOUT riding through the mountains. If this ride is like Running the Ridge (my First buell event), it'll take a dose of Botox to get the smile off my face. Thanks Jim (Jnance) for the picture you posted. It brings back great memories of great roads and wonderful people and a well organized event. |

Your welcome Ed. I was rather proud of myself for figuring out how to get those pictures off the Buell website. They made it difficult. |

I called to register and they stopped taking registrations. The lady was nice enough to take my info anyway. You can still register the day of. I think i'm going to reserve a room tomorrow after I talk to Becky. She is the one handling group check in at BW. Funny thing, I went to the Best Western site and found a room at the Braddock inn with one double bed and a stand up shower for 59.00 AAA discount or similar for 53.00. Omega, the agency handling reservations offers 1 room with a King for 89.00 or 2 doubles for 79.00. They were pissed when I told her the prices! Going to double check the rates tomorrow before making reservations. I was the 92nd person to sign up. |
