Dudes, looking for a good source for finding a 1400 to swap out for my 1203 stock motor in my 2001 S3T. I went to my HD dealership and they found a 1400 that will fit, along witha 6 speed tranny. They told me they could do it for $10k all parts included. I'm looking to see if I can find a motor somehwere and order the 6speed tranny and find a garage rat mech to put it in for me, then take it to HD for fine tweeking. any ideas? I am in Seattle. please forward thoughts to healingkneads@yahoo.com

So what exactly is your goal, just more power or did you destoy a motor and need a replacement? Lots of options depending on what you are looking for from a bolt on big bore kit --1250cc, to a big bore that requires machining at 90 inches--1450+ cc, your biggest obstacle is the stock fuel injection. A Baker 6 speed is about 1500 dollars and is an easy bolt in for better shifting, gear spread and cruising.
Our shop does that work but we are in Sonoma CA.
