New12r, Awesome! I've been slammed with work and stuff haven't had time to post. That is a funny feeling getting the knee down. I wish I could have seen it. Skill will come with time. Its harder at slower speeds, we'll work on it together grasshopper. How about next weekend? Please be careful just remember 'There are riders that have been down and that will go down' I have a book on racing that will show line form and knee dragging tips with pics. Your welcome to look at.Next weekend I'll trailer up the bike. Are you in? Getting the fluid drained out of my ankle at 9am friday. I'll be good to go! |

It wont be that cold, Thank You for the pat on the back for the wheelie. So everyone knows, I pulled the front up at about 2,200 rpm in second, slowly climbing the rpm's until I hit the rev limiter!! I wish I could remember to shift.
Shred, Yes I do have lots more learning, My lines are not real good right now and I just have to have my sliders scuffed! I would be game for the trailer up to the twisties but I will need to see how the week progresses.

Huh? That's nice weather. A few weeks ago most of us were riding in 25-29 degrees for the a.m. ride w/ the highs in the 40's by the afternoon. |

Hey Stealth (all), Just an update on the Lakewood Ampitheater (HiFi Buys) swap meet Jan 23rd. They usually have a couple of swap meets a year there, spring & fall. Lotta Harley parts to be had on the cheap, leather, Tats, gear, you name it. Quite a show with bikes on display and every type of Harley freak from rubs to patch holders to behold. Kinda low on the Buell representation but I'd like to see that change for 05. It started from a bunch of bored house bound bikers sitting around over the winter with a pile of parts after swapping/chopping/modding their sleds. The event starts at 9 or 9:30am and lasts till 5pm. Worth a go if you've never been if not for the parts for that "other" bike least for the show. Anyone like to meet up for the ride there? |

I was approved for the loan and everything on Wednesday afternoon. Now I just gotta work the numbers and sell it to my wife. Also, I need to call my insurance company and see how much the City X would be.

I know, I know. Actually, the Blast wasn't that hard to get because I paid cash for it, not including upgrades. The City X on the other hand, will require financing and we don't like to go into debt. But on the other hand...

Lakewood swapmeet last year started not opening the gates till 10:30 due to vender gripes... I haven't missed one in years... But Buell stuff is few... Leather is big... January meet is usually a pretty good one... |

The ride this morning was pretty good, I wore blue jeans and a t-shirt with a light fleece under the leather(perforated in the chest and armpits)and it felt pretty good.
Glitch, I think work is going to try and give it to me where the sun dont shine with my day off on monday, Because it is a holiday everyone has to work but they have yet to tell me this. I figure if they tell me today I will tell them to go @#$% themselves and if they want me to work they can refund my $400 deposit on the mountain cabin I rented for the weekend(wink wink). |

I'm getting ready to get my pipe modified, install a Techlusion, and chang out my drive belt.
Also, I am looking at ordering some gloves online, and was wondering if anyone was planning a purchase anytime soon so we could combine orders and save some shipping. Wow, long sentence. |

What kind of gloves are you looking for? Have you checked Cycle Gear and some other local retailers? Might be worth your time to avoid paying shipping and waiting. You can browse their site, then pick'em up.
