Well, it turns out how it turns out.

Plans change, and I'm still going. Taking my nephew up past Corova into the land of the Hard Core. He's 8. Only 4x4 access. I might let him drive for a very short time, while I work the pedals.

He needs "Man time" more than any of us. His real dad is in prison.

i got the beach bug from taking the kids to OBX yesterday.

i'd like to have my chance to dig in the sand and splash in the water. but i won't cry, and run to mommy when a wave pushes me over.

anybody wanna get together (families and all) at the beach?

I know some of us are thinking about it...but if you've noticed... we're running out of summer!!!





Just an idea... I can change anything about it. Maybe if we can make a decision on it... We can get some sort of Dealer participation either through posting it at the shop or even putting a little $$ into the pot for sponsorship!

I know we've been talking about this a lot lately...we should start doing the planning either here, or we can wait 'til Mel sets up the HRH Google Forum.

I won't be here for the event, but I'll help with planning, organizing, or anything else before I go.

So, HRH or VA Buell Rally...GO!

Oh, the beach BBQ can be in April...weather will be decent, and I'll still be here. The HRH or VA Buell Rally was what I was talking about above...sorry if I confused more than just myself.

Hey Guys, Michelle is coordinating everything, if you have any questions call me and I'll get the message to her. You get her number IF she calls you back directly. (lol)

Here's what I think would be cool, don't know if it'll be that way or not, but we get together for a ride that ends around noon and then head over to the beach and set up.

We will however need one or two extra grills. I can bring mine so if anyone else has a "Charcoal" grill they can bring/send that will be perfect.

Oh, and coolers.... we'll need coolers for the food and drinks.

I have some coolers I could bring, or we could just use my big old 50 gallon can. I have bags, so we just need to add ice. I should be able to bring my grill also. It isn't that big though.

Charcoal grills are pretty cheap.
I'll pick one up and bring it.

I'll get a couple bags of charcoal also.

Tank, that's why the corporate sponsorship was gotten. If you buy food make sure it's something you want, we've got enough money to provide burgers and hot dogs for the masses. Buns, plates, napkins and charcoal have all been taken care of also. Really, drinks are the only thing not handled because it's so easy to get it wrong. People have some peculiar taste, so we'll let them bring it themselves. But, we should at least have water available.

Tell you what tho, we'll need ice!
