First they took sam at 7 am for her endoscopy, then decided she needed another ct scan and she missed her endoscopy appt. I was livid when I found that out. She has not been able to ingest any liquids or jello or anything for the endoscopy and they made her miss it so she had to wait 5 more hours to get that test with no food or drink. Keep in mind she has not eaten since sat. the 28th. Now I am working with the financial aid folks and at least the hospital is trying to help. We do not qualify for medicaid, I would have to earn less than $750 A MONTH to get medicaid!! WTF, who can live on $750 with 3 people living off that?? WHO? While researching everything I'd need to cut cafe press out of the picture (middle men will kill you) I found the plans to build a 4 color screen press. Some type of screening apparatus. ding ding ding! I'll soon be able to do all my own t-shirts, and anything else I can think of to screen print. It's clearly a four-person nipple clamper. I know you were trying to be funny, but it actually does work! Please let me know if you need anything. Well .. anything other than the thing you prob. need most $$ .. sadly I have less than none of that till pay day .. sigh. Otherwise I'd buy some of your stuff. Guessing your dealing with gwinnett medical. Had some bad dealings with them .. my neice was visiting a few years ago and fell and broke her arm. Took her up there, had the x-rays done and while waiting for the Doc, with the x-rays sitting there on the table, nurse walked in and saw the x-ray .. could see the break, same a us, and was explaining to my niece about a cast and trying to calm her down ( niece was about 10 at the time ) then said basicly, I never said anything about the break cuz only the doc can diagnose that .. bla bla well when the doc came in he said it was just a sprain !!! I had few choice words with the doc - started very polite and ended with us leaving with the x-rays and going right to another hospital. Took the x-rays, gave them the x-rays w/o saying anything about what just happened. arm was broke and she spent the rest of the visit in a cast. I don't even want to think about what would have happened it had'nt be in a cast. only thing I can think is they did'nt want to deal with the out of state INS. but then my mother-in-law had a heart attack the year before that and they saved her life. Dave - I have the old XL in the garage. It's in bad shape though. Rear hub is frozen and the intake port's and exaust ports are not looking pretty. If you do still want it let me know. I work from home thursday and would be able to drop it off anytime after 5pm.   New12r Posted on Tuesday, January 06, 2009 - 07:33 pm:        Gwinnett has been better to us than Emory Eastside. Been to both a NUMBER of times... Sam is recovering from surgery and says she already feels better than she has in the past week. Now my wife is getting better and my job is falling apart, I may not have one after tomorrow and that is no good cuz I have been tapped dry with loads of bills due. My appt is a quick in and out (8:30) and he can hang out with him while I deal with the doc. So we can either pick him up around 8, or earlier if need be, or as soon as we get out of the doc's office. (late) Merry Christmas and Happy New year to everybody. Charlie, I hate to hear about Sam, tell her we are praying for her. Jobs seem to be few and far between right now, or at least they have been in my industry...I've spent the last month enjoying the family, learning how to brew pretty good beer, and of course looking for a job that pays more than unemployment. I haven't had much luck on the last one, but there are a lot of 8 to 10 dollar/hour jobs out there I'm happy to report, I'm just not that desperate yet. For everybody that is currently unemployed or think they will be in the near future, Norfolk Southern Railroad is hiring, they claim that 40% of their workforce will be retiring in the next 5 to 10 years (that's about 19,000 jobs) they have to train and have in position when everybody starts to retire. The hiring process is long, I had my first interview mid December, and was told not to expect the second interview and hiring till around June due to the classes being too full, but it seems to be well worth the wait. Charlie, call me if you need a babysitter, Mary would love to play with somebody her size. Charlie & Sam, you guys are in my prayers, hope you make a speedy recovery Sam. For those looking for employment, Lockheed in Marietta is hiring big time for numerous long term contracts. I even applied myself to see what they could offer. The drive to the airport from Woodstock has been kicking my ass for too long and the ride to Lockheed would cut my drive time in half! Still Tattooing at DDI in Union City but the owner is looking to move the shop up north as he has gone back to work at Lockheed too! Business has been off due to the crap economy (DUH!). The Cyclone has been purring like a kitten since September with no breakdowns, don't know whats wrong with it... I am hoping to see you fine folks at MBVI, but it is going to depend on my Mom. She is going to be having her surgery some time in March. I am going to go up to help out when she gets home. She only has 1 chemo session left!! And she is doing quite well. We went up to surprise her for new years. It was tough seeing her so skinny and bald. But she is doing well non-the-less. We got her to gain 7 pounds while we were up there, thanks to Melissa's fine culinary skills!
