Just wanted to let everyone know I hadn't completely disappeared. Met everyone one time and you hadn't heard form me again. Things have just been really busy both at work and at home.

Look's like I've missed some good times. I hope to get together with everyone some time soon.

Matt, I have gloves and find them rather bulky, I did like the grips but they were on an 1125R and I felt no wind on my fingers.

Matt, what kind of heated gloves have you found that are the same price as heated grips?? I've seen grip heaters at $30, and heated grips at $60-80...but never saw gloves around that price...

My hands get cold super fast, esp now that I'm back north...would love some cheap but effective heated gloves...

He bought factory heated grips with the switches installed in the factory starter switch housing, retail is 185 bucks.

Yep, that's it. All accessories are 25% off right now at SMHD, so they were $150 OTD. IIRC, the HD heated gloves are about $160.

Do you have hand guards? Those make a huge difference just by themselves.

See I should've looked at buying the factory switchgear for them... I just installed grip heaters, and just shoved the switch between the flyscreen and instrument panel. And I did install the handguards - I think it helped a little, but not as much as gloves or hippo hands or something. Oh well, baby steps...maybe heated gloves next year...

Just posting a quick note to let you know I made it to Houston alive. Tuesday was cold for the first few hours and wet for the last couple, but fortunately not both at once. Temps got up around 70 today, and I didn't get rained on anymore.

She went to the ER this morning via ambulance from Jennings. Just after lunch we started the journey home, all was good till we hit the driveway. Well then she got better again, only for her to tear out of the house about 20 min ago full steam ahead bucket in hand off to the ER again.

Well Sam is stable right now.

It looks like something(possible food poisoning, a couple others were pretty sick after eating the burgers.) got her started vomiting and with her weak stomach it just progressed.

Dont know when she will be home just yet but she is feeling better. Cant really talk much yet because her esophagus is inflamed.

Hi All - I want to touch base with everyone and let you know that we are busy making plans for March Badness VI. We have submitted dates to Buell to reserve the Buell Demo Truck. The event is scheduled for Saturday, March 28 and Sunday, March 29. I have also spoken with G.T. at T.W.O. and we're good to go there.

We are very excited about March Badness and are looking forward to seeing you there.

I'm trying to find out more about March Badness. It's not on the event calendar at Stone Mountain HD or the Buell site.

Before we can "officially" post it we have to get word from Buell saying our dates have been approved. This will happen in late January. We have never had issue before and I don't anticipate having problems with the dates this year.

The demo rides will be scheduled. There will be a registration area where you will sign up for the bikes that you want to demo and the time.
