I know of one person that flipped the crossroads bar upside down and it fit with the firebolt fairing.

But the the Heli bars are probably a better solution.

BTW do not try to ride without the belly pan on, one badwebber tried that and the
bottom of the upper wobbled around so much it cracked up the fiberglass. So don't be
tempted to ride it without the whole thing on.

The best angle will be similar to your first pic on your mock up post.

Directly from the side you should be able to see that there is something there, but not really what
it is other than a tribal type pattern .

I had to order the firebolt bars but they're still not in so I took the advice from above and flipped over the crossroads clip-ons. The brake cylinder still hits on a hard left but at least I can drive to work now!!!

What all paint/flex agent/primer/etc did you use for that? Care to say how you did it? I'm still trying to find out how I'm going to go the plastics along with the tin that is still on my bike.

It is a head turner.. All I did was order the fairing from Al's Speed Shop in FL, mocked it up, cut out space for the kickstand and exhaust, primer, paint and buff. It was a fairly easy process except that the front tire hit the bottom half of the fairing so I had to Dremel the holes for the top of the fairing and cut off the front half of the D&D exhaust that I run. I don't think that the stock exhaust would work with this because it juts out so much in the front. One extra measure I took was to fabricate some steel brackets that reinforced the lower half of the fairing to keep it from shaking around at high speed.

Do you have any pictures or templates for those support brackets or any other detail work? I love what you've done and want to do something similar. Thanks.
