A question for you track-dayers.
What is your usual total out of pocket cost for the day? (excluding gas to get there, since my ride to tally is MUCH shorter).

I really want to do one, so I need to make a plan for a budget.

Great vid Sanchez.. nice and smooth. What kind of mount are you using??
We have a small video camera that I am tring to think of a way to mount it on the cityX.

Russ, If the bike is ready Bargy runs Sundays for $125 for the whole day, pre pay, $150 day of if there is a spot open.

Add food and the $5 per person gate fee and you can go for less than $150.

Cheaper than a speeding ticket!!

I had to buy a tire so I was just shy of $350 with gas and such.

Gotta love living in the tornado valley!
We were risen from our slumber this morning at 3:55 to the musical musings of our local tornado siren.
Up out of bed, gather up the fam and head to the tornado shelter, and when I say tornado shelter, I mean our laundry room.

Several tornados in the area, but no damage here...
And for some strange reason, my NOAA weather radio did not sound its' alarm, but it did have the little red light on and displayed a tornado warning on the lcd.. And this thing is brandy new.
It is now 4:45, and no use in going back to bed now..

Thanks for the info Charlie. I will begin the saving, maybe mid-summer I can hit it up! I will probably add a rear tire in that budget as well. I figure if I don't need it before the track day, I will probably need it afterwords.

I went broke going to tally, no more track days for a while...

I still have not even went out to the barn to look at the uly to see why it is running bad. I dont even have the spare cash for a set of F'n spark plugs.

I will have to get a new bike before I do any more track days. The Uly sucked, the duc was fun and so was the gixxer, but Unloading the Uly seems like a goal I will never attain as no one ever seems to buy Buell's.

Sanchez, I was up reading Fight Club last night about Lil Red. I was obviously bored and laughed so hard at you and the Turnip! There is some funny shiot in there!
