Congratulations Sanchez!
Looks like you have an actual "Rider" not just an "Owner".

Maybe you can get her to pat me on the head and transfer some of that "intestinal fortitude" over to me.

Hey Glitch, anyway you or the other Web Masters could do something so the Smiley Face Pop up doesn't close each time you make a selection but either waits and closes when you post or until you click on an "X" to close it.

My laptop is so slow it takes forever for the icons to fill the page every time.

Just a thought/suggestion.

Beautiful weather here, frayed clutch cable out, new clutch cable being installed, fresh primary oil standing by, haven't rode in 2 weeks due to weather, stopping by Dothan HD/B to see if the 1125R has arrived, last turn of the wrench to tighten the cable into the primary........and it snaps off leaving the threads in the primary. Lovely......got the threads out, Phil had a cable in stock so he's shipping to me Monday. Local dealer doesn't have crap for Buells. Go figure. Gonna be one of those days......

Man, what a beautiful day. There wasn't much gravel on the roads, and there was almost no traffic at all. I felt like I had the whole mountain to myself.

The gixxer is fun, but man it sure is a workout. There is nothing relaxing about riding that thing through the mountains!

Fran, it was good to see you, even though we didn't get to ride too many miles together.

Good to ride with you too. I ended up going the long way home. I'm beat, but that was fun.

We are planning on going on Sunday so a new riding buddy of our can go with us. He is thinking about changing from a Cruiser to something more Motard or sporty so he wants to milk Kdan's Brain.

He doesn't realize that hanging with Kdan will put him in the "Biker's Poor House" with a different bike for each mood....or day of the week, which ever comes first!

It was a nice day and traffic was near nothing. More ladies out on bikes today then men ,sort of sad.

Hmmm, I'm thinking maybe not so much for the unmarried/unattached biker dudes out there. You just made them wish they had gotten out from behind the TV/PC today.

I was riding in spirit.

Odie, I have rode twice since nov. so I feel ya. I rode with expired tags on Fri just because I had not rode in so long.

I'll probably be photographing at Tally on Saturday, so I'm shooting for Sunday for the IMS.

On a completely unrelated note, holy crap my legs are sore. Prior to yesterday, I hadn't really had to use my legs while riding since last April.

For those of you inclined to hang off your bike, what do you do with your outside foot? I've always cornered with both toes on the pegs. I got a chance to talk to Opie Caylor (AMA racer working at Marietta Motorsports) last weekend, though, and he puts his outside heel down:

I tried it, and it really does give me extra room to hang off. By turning my outside toe out a bit, I can put my calf right up against the bike. It feels more natural, and it doesn't twist my knee as much. The drawback is that it's harder to transition. It takes a little hopping jig to make it work quickly.

Sanchez, Opie's a class act, I've only spoke to him once or twice at the WERA National races which is co-sanctioned by the AMA. He races A and B Superstock and Formula 1 and takes the podium at just about every race. The joke is that he's got a second garage for all his trophies. lol!

Matt if you thought yesterday was dead you should have came up today. It was like having my own personal road. I love this time of year. Thought JC was going to get in a short ride but his back tire was down to the cords. We will take care of that tomorrow.

I'd like to have ridden again today, but I just had too much to do. Things I fixed today:

- Refrigerator (replaced thermostat)
- Light fixture (replaced glass cover)
- Toilet seat (probably says nothing positive about my ass that it broke)
- Gigantic pile of wet leaves in my driveway (glad I shelled out for the 6.5 hp mower now)
- crf50 (working on tuning the carb)

Unfortunately I still have plenty left to work on. I need another day or two of weekend.

A man who had just died is delivered to a local mortuary wearing an expensive, expertly tailored black suit. The blonde mortician asks the deceased's wife how she would like the body dressed. She points out that the man does look good in the black suit he is already wearing.

The widow however, says that she always thought her husband looked his best in blue, and that she wants him in a blue suit. She gives the blonde mortician a blank check and says, " I don't care what it costs, but please have my husband in a blue suit for the viewing."

The woman returns the next day for the wake. To her delight, she finds her husband dressed in a gorgeous blue suit with a subtle chalk stripe. The suit fits him perfectly!

She says to the mortician, " whatever this cost, I'm very satisfied. You did an excelent job and I'm very grateful. How much did you spend? "
To her astonishment, the blonde mortician presents her with the blank check.

"There's no charge," she says.

No, really I must compensate you for the cost of that exquisite suit! " she says.

Honestly, ma'am" the blonde says, " it cost nothing. You see, a deceased gentleman about your husband's size was brought in shortly after you left yesterday, and he was wearing an attractive blue suit. I asked his wife if she minded him going to his grave wearing a black suit instead, and she said it made no difference as long as he looked nice. So I just switched heads.

He was on the phone all the way home describing in every detail his get off.
Man yesterday was fun.
After we get moved and I'm working again, I'll be looking at getting a little bike.
It's too much fun not to.
The track is killer!
Needs more break in though ; )

Lol, yeah, I appreciate the PT Cruiser burnout in my driveway, Frank! Haha!

I'm working on getting my GF's 50 running right. It won't go in the dirt with its street tires, but it will make for some good parking lot fun.

Charlie, That was a hoot, I'm a bit sore from my get off in turn 6, the left hander by the house going into the strait away.

I can't seem to make up my mind about what kind of tires I want for the Z50R. Street or dirt?

Charlie/Sanchez, Looks like I'm in for Tally, might even be picking up a KTM 50 senior and and crf50. I'm trying to work out the package deal now. Shelley gave me the "o.k"

Looks like me might just start our own mini-racing series.
