After being infested with fleas many years ago, I now have our yard and house sprayed by a exterminator each start of Spring. Trying all the Petsmart items only take your money and more time than it's worth. Call the exterminator, treat the pets and go on with your day.

Get it done before baby comes home.

Oh, Will, another tidbit for the first date:

Look the young man square in the eye and say this:

"Just remember son... She is my flesh and blood, which means when you are touching her... you are ALSO touching me."

Congrats Will & Chrissy! Now the fun begins!!! You'll need a clothes pin for your nose (green baby poop) and a splatter shield for the first time you change his diaper and his wiener catches a breeze for the first time. You have been warned.

Chuck, Fleas are miserable little bastards that have a 14 day gestation cycle. You kill the first load but the defcon bombs have no effect on the eggs. That is unless you hit em two weeks after the first time (I always hit em a third for good measure) My Rottie was a flea magnet and brought them in like a freight train till I started using perscription strenth FRONT LINE. Good luck

New12r, you can kill all the fleas you want in the house, but take it from a veteran flea hunter; Spread lots of flea killer in the yard, bomb the house every 13 days 3 times and use the frontline. Fleas gone within a month. You can get the stuff for the yard at Home Depot. You have to declare war and treat everything the animals come in contact with. Most people treat the house, but totally forget the yard.

Thanks for the flea tips, I slacked on the frontline over the winter and that is when it started. I have bombed Twice in the last week including the crawl space and attic. I treated the yard with Double the recommended dosage, removed the dogs from the house/yard, sprinkled powdered killer on the carpet and furniture, sprayed the hardwoods with spray and sprayed lots of other stuff too. Now there are still live fleas in the house and that is what I dont get. Anyway calling an exterminator and going to try to keep the house cleaning/killing to a daily routine for the next month.

New12, remember my house last year? I was mopping the floors with killer and they were still all over the place. Sevin seemed to be the best at actually killing them on contact, if that's what your looking for. Also, if your neighbors aren't scared, burn some of your yard around the house to kill everything. (*warning! IT IS OUT OF BURN SEASON! HENCE THE NEIGHBOR THING!) Other than that, I think your stuck calling a professional. We ended up having to. I know it sucks.

New12R...awesome.....getting closer. You are in for a real treat. Don't listen to what anyone says about it being rough and no sleep. You do it with pleasure.

Thanks for the kind words everyone.
Mrs._Sunshine and Anna_Sunshine are great. The docs let us come home last night. Chrissy was really sick there for a few days. She had what is called Help Syndrome. Basically, her Liver was shutting down, high blood pressure and Very low platelet count. Your body thinks that it is still toxic and attcks you liver and blood. Low platelets = seizure so the anti-seizure meds (meagnesium) really f's you up. Your body has to bottom out before it can repair itself hense the extra days in the hospital.

We are home now and she is feeling a looking great. Anna is perfect of course and the greatest thing that could happen to me. I am a very proud papa of both my girls.

My baby girl rockin' the mullet

glad everything's ok, Will. i know your blood pressure was a little high for a while.

well, me and J.C. were the only people on the loop this weekend. : ) i'll let him tell about the pack of lady riders we met at Dale's....

the roads were mostly dry, mostly empty, and fuzz free. Wolf Pen was a little damp where there's a lot of cover, but otherwise good.

You guys wanna try again this Saturday? i promise to let someone ELSE be in charge of weather. : )

great picture of kdan.

i was riding my uly at suches today. i needed to recharge my hooligan batteries when i was approached by a squid who told me i needed to put on an exhaust system and a power commander so that i could make my buell as fast as his and i told him i could not ride my bike even close to its potential so why bother with that stuff. anyway i wanted to see what that supped up buell could do and sure enough he wrecked at the bottom of 60 just before the rock pile. i hate to see another brother buell rider fall but he didn't get hurt just low sided .did i mention squid!!!! as my friend told me one day learn to turn the bike before learning to turn the throttle.

I need a front plug wire. Plugs would be nice also. Took the Uly down to Stone Mountain because the finish is going away in a hurry. They were really nice but could not get Harley to take care of the problem. It is sad that a company will not back it's product. Something powder coated is supposed to last. William has always said that it is not as good as a good basecoat clearcoat and this proves he is right.

Redid the SV. Gave it a nice retro paint job. JCs son Danny did the paint and his son Tony did the stripes. I supervised. Need a Buell flyscreen.

Killer. I'm thinking I need some black stripes like that for my Uly. Or if I can find a black 06 seat, I might get another olive drab/flying tiger job.
