Ok, how's this for ghetto? The tards at Midas who welded up my muffler mount neglected to tighten the bolts holding it to the bike. So I lost a nut, a bolt, a washer, and a big aluminum bushing. There's no where you can just buy a big aluminum bushing, but I realized today that I had a wooden dowel rod sitting on my workbench. Lo and behold, it was exactly the right diameter, so I chopped off the end, drilled a hole in it, and I'm back in business.

Matt, That wood dowel is gonna last about 5 minutes. Get to home depot or a hardware store and get some round stock to fit in there. Otherwise you'll be learning how to remove exhaust studs snapped off in the heads. Use a grade 8 bolt too as they don't wear as fast for the muffler hanger strap.

So I just got the cops called on me after some stupid biotch with her family just about killed me, no shit, If I was not checking my 6 I would be dead or close to it. Pulling in my driveway, or waiting to pull in and here she comes barraling down the road right at me, then she says its my fault because she could not see me?????!!!!!! What???? I am in the middle of the road right in front of her with my hand signal and a brake light!!!! ARGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! Thanks for the vent.
