Hey Frank,

Running Great. Took a spin up to Deals gap over memorial day weekend and had to replace the O2 sensor. Got some new tires on her (Made a huge difference)

I've been so busy I haven't been able to make it to the V lately to check in with you.

Didn't get to take my spin today, got too busy getting ready to watch the game tomorrow.

BTW, Frank (or anyone else for that matter) if you want to come watch the game tomorrow, open invite to come watch, have sky line chili and hang at the pool. Just no throwing poop at the television if the french win...

One word about Track Day @ Barber......AWESOME!!!!!

That is the most "legal" fun I have had on a motorcycle..ever!

I rung her little neck all day long and she kept on pumping out the performance. I hit about 110 mph on the straight until you have to hit the brakes for Turn 1. Coming out of "Sanchez Corner" (yes he has another one and I am sure he will elaborate on that later) the pony would lift the front tire until you crested the hill. I will be putting velcro on my pants for some pucks 'cause I almost scraped a hole in both knees dragging them around the track. All the Buells hammering the track sounded amazing. Everyone at the track day knew who were before the day was out thanks to Silverbullets handy work with our 3% tape on our headlights

Shred...thanks for the tips and lines on the track

New12R, Odie and Shred.....you guys rocked that Intermediate Class. Ya'll were hauling a$$ and schooling those IL4s.

Fran_dog, Sanchez and S_B.....awesome running the track with you.

Wags....nice to meet you

Smoke.....tough break. I was looking forward to seeing that Nasty S1 run. Next time right?
Bambi...can't wait for the picks

Jimmy and Angie.....We enjoyed the hospitality and showing us around your hood Friday night. As far as I'm concerned you guy are 3%ers (that is, if you want to be associated with this Motley Crew)

All you guys did great on and off the track. I had the best time and can't wait for the next one.

I will post the few picks I have in the pics section later. As many cameras that were around there should be some great pics.

tbs_stunta yea I know I tried to talk him into an f4i or something a bit tamer but he got a deal on this one and it is his money. in his defense he is sane and is taking all precautions to do things right. going to the msf courses, asking as many questions as he can and bought all the proper riding gear. if he does things right he can learn on it and not kill himself I hope. maybe once he gets used to street riding I’ll bring him along to a bike night and introduce him to the 3%ers so that yall might impart some of the vast well of knowledge of biking on him like yall have me.
It is hard to find good influences in the sport bike community and if the right people influence and talk to him his riding life will be long and enjoyable. stupidly is contagious but then again a seed of knowledge planted by good people will always flourish.

I cannot type all the stories I have from Barber! I will tell a couple. Starting with I cannot wait to do It again!

First Thanks to Buell Motor Company/Private Track Time(Leon Shred & Crew) and Barber. Thanks to BraveAngel, Shelly and Nicolas, Frandog, Silverbullet, Black_Sunshine, Smoke, Wags, Sanchez, Odie Jimmy and Angie, and anyone and everyone else I forgot!

WOW what a weekend it was and a top notch racetrack!!! I could talk all day just about the grounds around the track let alone the track itself.

I did not pull a "Sanchez" in turn 6 I think, but I did break the back end loose and "backed her out" until I got scared and lifted just enough to recover traction.

Rode right off the track on the back stretch trying to pass a guy(think of mountainriders twin brother on the track, former racer, teacher etc...)in the kink, about 110 was the speed when I hit the grass. Two guys behind me thought I crashed and were very surprised to have me pass them just 6 turns later!!!!

The blind uphills are freaking scary as all get out!!!! Wide open up hill with no sight of your markers or the track direction.

Turn one is a downhill left coming off a long straight to a crested uphill right into a downhill bank, it was like riding down a twisted slide on the playground but at about 90mph with your toes and pegs being ground to nothing in the process! So back uphill you go into a blind right wide open at about 100mph only to get over the hill and see brake markers coming fast! downhill again! Left through a wicked hairpin combo (Sanchez's corner)where you practically wheelie out up another hill to the Alabama Coaster. Holy crap what a series of turns, hard right on the brakes, straight over the hump on the apex of the left(you never even turn left) to a downhill banked right hander that looks really tight but has a huge exit. Next comes the kink, wide open in 4th gear to a short left hard right down a short straight. Now another left downhill to a right over a tunnel back downhill still leaned right to the next right back uphill to the last tight right hander then out with as much gas as you could handle through the last turn to a fourth gear rev limiter ride down the front stretch.

Well I hope you enjoyed the ride! I am whooped and need some rest. I will post pics soon.

Just walked in the door, dropped Leon off at Atl. airport. I can't even start to post anything yet. I'm whooped......

Dave with PTT (riding the R), wearing the blue and white leathers riding in the advanced group said he'd never seen a set of tires (SHREDDED) so bad. That says a lot, he was the track champion at Blackhawk raceway with CCS in 99' and 2000'

We'll post pics later on this week. Glad so many people made it out. Everyone road great, glad we all came home in one piece. The 3%ers made me proud...I think we might have a few more track junkies in the group.

Hey, all you guys that were at Barber this past Sunday, if you will email me your mailing address, I will burn each of you a CD with your pics full size on it so you can do personally what ever you want with them.

cdthatbme@yahoo.com

Frank, I think Buellish is going to try and starts some rides on Sunday morning from our side of town since he goes about every Sunday anyway so keep your eye out on the board. I'm sure one of us will post it. Kdan sometimes rides from my place & meets me in Buckhead at my job to go to the V. Let him know if you are interested and I am sure he would love to show you our route through the McMansions from Northside Dr.

If we get Buellalove with us, you tubers will out number the XBs & baby Buells. We need more Buellers on our side of town! Hey wait! I forgot, Buellish has infiltrated Earl Smalls! Now it is just a matter of time!

Depends on your riding Stealth. For everyday riding I would use the Harley Type "E" oil, more aggressive riding I would recommend the Screaming Eagle Heavy oil. Or you could use whatever you want really. We have both plus the extra heavy oil all in stock. Hope that helps.
