I ended up at Jeffery's sports bar to watch FIM Super sportbike, I was hoping for the AMA at Barber but it didn't happen. Would anyone be up for thursday night at Jefferys? The GM said he'd hook us up with something just for bringing some sportbikes up and not just H/D's and cruisers for biker night. Here is a video back before my crash. The guy with the camera crashed but it was fun up till then. Several of us got together on a great day for some fun. Me on the Buell,Ben R6, Charles R1, Craig R6, Lee CBR 600. Craig did not make it to far. Ben passed me near the end and the pace really picked up. I did get back around him right at the end. I did some mountain riding of a different kind today: Man, I was rusty. I felt naked without armored pants. The diode blocks were blown going to the start/ignition relays. Ordered the relays as well as the diode blocks from Stone Mtn, they said they'll be in on thurs as parts were in stock at the factory. Bunny please do inform me when they come in. Hopefully I'll be up and running again by this weekend. It appears I need a gigantic got dayum hex key to get the front axle out. Anyone know what size it is? So Saturday I came to work to finish a CF running leg for a lady that ran the Boston Marathon....twice. Her current prosthesis is low tech and slowing her down so I built her a 100% CF running leg that weighs only 2lbs. 6oz. I was challenging to do the final lamination because of the way the foot is connected (1 piece). All in all it came out well. Almost pull all my hair out trying to figure out how to laminate it without air bubbles. Just thought I would share. I got back from Barber last night.. man what a weekend. Friday we got SERIOUSLY rained on.. everything was squishy. The weather on saturday and sunday was PERFECT. Great racing all weekend. The only bummer on the weekend was the fact that Buell did not show... I am assuming that they had not yet come to a solution to their problems from Daytona. There was one buell out there in FX, #111, but it appeared as though he was running unusually slow for some reason. I did see Tim (can't remember your badweb name), but no other Buellers. Now, to watch the races on TV this evening!!
