I'll bring the Cobra out to play Thursday. Between me and Lightning Dave, there won't be an intact ear drum anywhere in the parking lot.

Funny thing happened on the way home from work today on the bike. I am traveling down North Druid almost to P'tree Ind. I am passing a Day Care and stop at the light right in front of the playground. The playground is full of (I'm guessing 10 or so 2 to 3 year olds) playing. I look back over to the fence and there is ALL 10 little boys and girls glued to the fence with there noses sticking through the chain link fence staring at me with their mouths open and pointing. I wave at them and they all wave back still staring and drooling while holding their sippy cups or toys. It made me laugh out loud. I looked behind me at the car and the driver and passenger were laughing as well. It made my day to say the least.

Sunshiny, you screwed up...Check the manual, bud. You were obliged and required to wheelie for them at that point. I do it all the time for kids. Makes their day. Pisses off their moms...Hey, I'm a giver.

I will be at barber, sans bike. But just look for the Camp WAHU banner, and that will be us.
The banner may not be there on Friday since the guy that is bringing it will most likely not make it until Saturnday morning.
Just call my name, and I'll be there. ;)
I'll will, however, have my buell hat on... gotta represent.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks Sanchez!
It's funny, having moved, we don't have internet, cable, or a home phone, I thought I'd hate it, but it's been kind of nice.
I've missed having the internet a couple of times, not the phone or the TV though.
New12r and I had fun yesterday shooting little green plastic army men, it's great letting the inner child come out and play.

In fact, I have the lego mindstorm robot right now. That thing is fun... I haven't played with it in a while... may have to ressurect it.}

Is that the one you can program?

Yeah. It has a main block that has a microcontroller in it. The body is made of lego type connections. On the top there are 4 'pads' that are the same footprint as the 4 pin blocks. These have metal contact pads for the sensor attachments.
The kit comes with a two different types of sensors; Pressure and light. I think you can purchase other types too. It also comes with 2 servo drivers that run the motors.}

The kit comes with the software and an RF transmitter to send the program to the unit. This connects to the serial port. The program is really simple to use, it is really just a bunch of blocks that you stick together to form your code. It is pretty limited though, but is great for teaching kids how program flow works since they get to 'see' the flow.
There is a guy who developed a program called 'not quite C' that you can download and flash the unit with, this lets you use a coding style similar to C to program with.

I just checked the lego mindstorm website... it looks like they have a new system coming out. So far it looks bad ass.

I think I just found what I was looking for.
I am simply amazed.
This is between a Micron Serpent exhaust system and the Ti Force exhaust system.
Red is Ti Force, blue is the Micron, both are on a stock XB9 with open airbox.
Different bikes on the same dyno.
A micron is in my future, remember ... look at the curve.

Now all I need is the cash for the Micron and ECM. Guess I'll have to build up the Buell account again.

*sigh* Stretch has some sad news. I am leaving Stone Mountain H-D. I will be working at a place closer to home (Athens) since gas prices are RIDICULOUS! I'm not as cool as all the buellies who can ride their bikes to work. Anywho, Robbi Dare is taking my place as "head biotch" in motorclothes(okay, riding gear specialist, but head biotch sounded better.) She'll come on and introduce herself on here later.

On a lighter note, we got some powertrip summer weight jackets in, and the buell stuff is still 25% off. (I don't know if that's official, but the sign's still up, so you can take advantage of it-I think someone forgot to take the sign down)

Also, if any of you didn't get your free buell bag at the demo rides, we are having the promotion from now until June 30th. If you test ride a buell, you get a free bag. easy as that.

So, I guess it's kind of farewell to you all. My last day is Ap 28 at Stone Mountain, and i'll be at the Women's day event at Granite on the 29th. Hope to see some of you in the shop before I leave. Hopefully I'll get my own buell soon (again) and can come ride with ya'll.

Stretch, what New12r said.

New12r, do you need a programmed ECM? It's probably be cheaper to just get the Race ECM for you. You can re-prgram the Race ECM just the same as a standard one, when you get your Micron.

a Termignoni Pipe maybe and some new rubber. Plus the usual tune-up stuff, plugs, wires, oil and such. Been contemplating buying a steering dampner from Hyperpro. Anyone hear anything about them for the XB's? They sound kick a**.

Interesting. The Ti has the advantage down low and the Micron up high. Looks like someone needs to invent a variable geometry exhaust system.

Ask Shred, he's got a nice damper, it's the one that's tucked away under the fairing. I don't know if it's the Hyperpro one or not.
Sweet looking pipe.

Buell put one in the XB12.
What I didn't like about the Ti Force (other than the price) is that torque hole, it does look like it'll wheelie a lot easier don't it!
For the money, the Micron wins.
IIRC, the Micron plus Direct Link ECM is $800, the Ti Force alone is like $1200.

Glitch: Stop giving me reasons to by the Micron. It's hard enough trying to silence the voice in my head saying "Get it, you know you want it." The Microns tq. curve is smoother right where you need it. Look at 4k RPM and up.
