I called up SMHD to get my bike looked at. A couple of weeks before the Demos. I started having a hard time getting it to shift from 2nd to 3rd. It feels like the shifter is going to break off trying.

If you speed shift, it will shift just a bit easier, but still hard. I even let N12R take it for a spin as well. It also will sometimes slip out of 3rd when letting of the throttle or trying to down shift. 'causing a false neutral'

By the way, fliud is new and only the good stuff. Its the correct amount also. I checked and rechecked...

I talked to Jay and Brian the Buell techs. Brain said he'd seen this before. Said make an appointment. By the way Brian has worked on Buell race bikes and has a great deal of knowledge.

I'll called on monday, Alex in service slid me in for Wednesday a.m. Hows that for service?

Another thing, lets talk tires. Ask for Chris or Sid in parts. They have a special tire program going on for us Buellers.

Not sure about the labor in the service dept. as of yet. Just ask I forgot to get the $ on labor.

What A F##n Blast that was.....
Thanks to all that made this such a great event. I learned allot about riding skills and riding confidence this weekend. Never can learn too much I say.Thanks B_S for the ride up and back.It was A life saver.
You all know by now what my plan of attack is.....Sell the X1 and get an SS. What A machine, Now I know why you all love the mtns so much, don't get me wrong the X1 is awesome but the new technology of the newer Buells especially the ride position on the S and the ease of handeling....ooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh yeahhhhhhhh........what a rush..thanks Mike and everyone else who took the time to show me how comfortable it can be to LEAN OR DIE..

Thats really awesome, just makes me wish I was back riding there...

One suggestion for next year, Get as many camera's as possible and do a MBIV ride out(With as many people as you can get) and have people stationed at different points to film everyone, then combine the footage for a MBIV video.

I came up to MBIII on Sunday, but wasn't there long, probably for about 2 1/2 hours. I had to work here at the shop on Saturday. Next year I want to come up for the whole weekend so that I can join in on more of the fun.

Let me know what the CFO decides. I can pull those for you and hold them under your name so that they don't get sold out from under you before you can get here.
