Author Message   Drift Posted on Monday, April 03, 2006 - 05:43 pm:        Ratsyon, Kewl. You will be amazed at the difference it will make in your bike. Keep in mind that you will need to have your TPS checked and possibly reset. Mine was spot on when they checked it after my swap but, from what I understand it is a crap shoot. Typically, this is not an expensive thing to do but, that depends on your dealer. Of course our dealer is the bomb. That bike was sooo smooth compared to my Cyclone. The seat was comfortable, the EFI throttle response was excellent, and it felt really comfortable in corners with those high foot pegs. Mounting & balancing = $25/tire on the bike or $15 if you just bring the wheels in. Good food, nice digs, great company, all we need is a band next year. Finally have a chance to post as I've been busy setting up my tool box to drag back to Delta as I started the engine mechanic position today. Haven't had a chance to mess with my charging system on the Cyclone but have already tracked down a VR if needed. Gotta be in the mood to give it some Frank lovin and work has me pissed at the moment. The whole ride thru rush hour traffic this morning I was thinking of the good time we had, that and the Blues music on WRFG can get me thru another week at "the suck". Sanchez, We'll have to start a seperate INK section for all the 3% that are sporting art or piercings. That latter bit was for the pervs in the group, you know who you all are! My buddy John made it home to Valdosta ok but to tell you what a class act he is I'll drop this story on ya. Down Mcdoughna way exit 218 he picks up a stranded biker with a blown engine on his Busa, loads him up on his trailer and drives him 100 miles out of his way back to the guys house in Lithonia... The guy offers him $200 for his trouble but John only peels off $50 for the gas his duellie burned and just said to return the favor to the next downed biker the guy might run across (proably me). Then resumes his 4 hour drive south. Quite the solid guy. Can anyone recommend a decent Video Imaging software. One I can pick up at Office Depot or Target. The one that came with my vid camera is marginal at best. I don't want to break the bank but want one that is pretty good and SIMPLE to use. I HAD A BLAST THIS WEEKEND- Literally :} It was nice to see all you hooligans again and meet some new ones. I'm impressed, in the last 8 months you guys have acquired some cool people into the 3%er's!! Bambi- You were cruisin' down 60 on Sunday. You did AWESOME!!! I think you're a better rider than you give yourself credit :} I pushed the hell out of the blast coming down 19 towards Turner's Corner- couldn't keep up going up blood mtn though- the bike just doesn't like altitude gain but I gave it a good try. Next time I come out I'm bringing my 'real' bike. No more of this not keepin' up with the big boyz crap. GREAT EVENT!! I heard so many people say how smooth it ran and how the lead guys kept a good pace. Too bad the 'rain' scared people off on Sunday, you guys were smokin' getting rides in and out all day!!! I was the guy you waved past on the great road (can't recall the road name, but it was the one with the lodge at the very top) that Drift lead us up late in the day. That ride with you, Drift and Smoke (Tim) will stay with me forever. It's incredible how fast you can go when you are following fast riders. It was an amazing display, gentlemen. If you have any of that on tape, please make it available. I am planning on making a dvd of the entire weekend... I think I am going to catch up with some 3%ers and make some more hard riding video for the DVD... so anyone I promised video to let me know when you will be up there and I will try to get some then... Hats are still capable of being ordered so e-mail me or PM me and I will get them ordered... $25 (need Hat size and style of hat & the way you want your name spelled CaPiTaLS ETC) MtnChld That video of the camp fire will defiantly be on the DVD (at least some of it) Make sure to post your pics (in the pic section) so I can include some in the dvd... I would also like to get video if any of you guys have any from this weekend... I will trade you a new tape for your used one if so I can encode it at high quality...
