I think G' and I did 675 miles in one day

That's 8 tanks of gas for me. :P I'm going on the 9/11 memorial ride in late August, and I think the guys riding with me are going to get reeeeal tired of gas stations. Maybe I can find a manta tank before then.

I think for the sake of my butt, I'm going to have to keep trading off cheeks. Only one of them fits on the "thong" at a time, so I'll just switch off every few miles.

So,
My rear tire went flat literally in front of SMHD.
My bike needs a service anyway so I let them hang on to it to do both on Monday.
With the summer season ahead, a set of fresh rubber sounds perfect.
The boys in Service say they only recommend stock tires (Dunlpops in my case)
I have not been able to out ride them.....yet.
I like to upgrade when ever possible, plus with warm weather on the way.... I am going to be pushing a lot harder.
It's already at the dealer so....
What do you guys think?

I'm seriously pleased with my Michelin Pilot Roads vs. the stock Dunlops. Maybe my Dunlops were just worn flat, but these Pilots are noticeably more responsive. I don't have to shift my weight nearly as much to lean the bike over. A set is $250 installed on the bike at Two Brothers Tires.

Digital.....NOOOOOO WAAAAYYYY on the stock tires. Dunlops are marginal at best. I personally would go with the Pirelli Diablos. I have had two sets and love them. I have 100% faith that they will not let me down when I'm am hard in a corner. SOme here are running Power Pilots as well as the M1s.

Yes....but it will cost you. I pull my rims and tires off myself and take them to Cycle Gear. They will mount for 30 bucks. HD gonna charge you labor which is $75/hr. They can order you any tire you want.

Don't buy Dunslops!!! Those tires suck! I run Pirelli Diablo's, Others run and like the Pilot Power from Michelin. Oh yeah and a set of tires installed at the dealer is $500!
Don't get me wrong, SMHD/Buell is a great dealer with great folks, but they cannot compete with tires...period.

Sorry the prices are a little more than expected but when I brought him the logos he said it may cost a little more than he initially expected due to complexity and size...

Well I am finally getting the race ECM tomorrow. little nervious from talk about how people modify there ECM and TPS and there bikes never run right again and are problematic! I'll give it up to faith in SMHD.
