Can any one recomend a good paint guy in the city?
I have a couple of fiberglass pieces I want to try to match to the plastic bits on my XB.
I know that any body shop can do it .....
When I tell them that there is no paint code, the car guys try to doge me. The ones that I have been to anyway.
Trying to keep it in the family.

Finally, a bike from the home team that can stand ( read "make look silly") with the Italian elite offerings
Is it watercooled?

Digital most paint supply stores like a PPG store that sells automotive paint have a paint analyzer that can read your paint and print out a formula. PPG calls theirs a Profit and it works great. I have to use it on most all the motorcycles that I paint unless I have the time to order paint from Color-Rite. I am sure that S-B can handle any problem that you might have. From what I have seen he does very nice work.

Odie sent me some very nice pics for the background, this is going to look extra good.

No worries Bullet. I am working on a flat spot as well. I have not been in the hills since October. All I do is ride back and forth to work. WEll, at least I am riding so no complaints. Nice tail by the way... If you ever need help with seat foam or seat work, just let know. That is what I do for fun.

In addition, every single part on the bike, plus optional parts, will be available for anyone to order out of a catalog at any Buell dealership.

S-B, I think it would look good (spine pad), like a old time MV Agusta racer. Put one on with double sided tape and see if it floats your boat. Looks and feel are two different things.

So, is there any word on Mr. Buell making an appearance at MB??

it is starting to look like I will be joining you fine folks for MB. I just need to get myself a new back tire beforehand.

Might I recommend a fresh set of tires.
Trust me, there's nothing worse than needing a front tire where we'll be riding, well...there are things worse, but needing front end grip is essential.

I want that Olins suspension package.
I want those wheels.
I want that big ol' gas tank.

Yeah, maybe I'll do the set. Although the front has plenty left on it. I am much harder on the rear than the front.
I was eyeballing a set on ebay. Pirelli Diablo Corsas, IIRC they were about $130 each.}

Our bikes are as hard on the front as the back, because of the steep rake.
It doesn't show as wear like the rear tire, it shows in the handling.
Corsas are real good, I know New12r and Shred have used them more than once, and they like 'em.
