I was out at a club Friday night with the Cobra, and when I went to leave, there was a guy in a Mercedes blocking the exit waiting for a friend. I gave him a little honk, thinking he'd back up and let me out. Wrong. Apparently I rubbed him the wrong way because not only did he not move until his other passenger came out a minute later, but he also wouldn't leave the driveway. He'd move forward a few feet then just stop. There was a line of cars behind him honking and another one in front of him. The valet finally had to run over and order him to leave. I followed him out onto the street because there's no other route to 285 from there, and he pulled the same crap, slowing down and stopping in the middle of the road. As soon as we got to a spot with some open lanes, I moved over to pass him on the left. So what does this belligerent •••• do? He punches the gas and swerves over to try and block me! I tried to get out of his way, but he tagged my passenger side rear wheel, spun me out into a curb, and then fled for his worthless life. If I hadn't had some practice spinning my car out on the track, this could've been really ugly. If I hadn't regained control of the car when I did, I'd have gone straight through a guard rail, down a hill, and onto 285 with my driver's side door facing oncoming traffic. And I'd hate to think what might've happened if I'd been on my bike. Man, I can't tell you how angry I am. The police officer who responded to my 911 call said he'd go back to the club and see if maybe the guy was a regular, but since I didn't get a license plate number, he probably couldn't help me. I'm probably going to get •••••• for my $250 deductible plus a hike in my insurance rates because of this •••••••. If any of you see a four door black Mercedes-Benz sedan (an S430 I think) with damage to the driver's side front corner, get his license plate for me.   Mountainrider Posted on Sunday, January 22, 2006 - 07:42 am:        To bad about the Cobra. If you have a police report then you can probably file it under uninsured motorist. It will reduce the deductible and not effect your rates. I know of a killer body shop you can have it worked on.....(H&H Bodyshop)....run by our own Silverbullet. He gotz skillz and will make the least painful as possible. Sorry for your misfortune and good thing you weren't hurt. That goes for the rest of your officers as well. It sounds like you all have been having a great time. I have missed seeing and RIDING with you all. I called Clown and Torqer a few days back and let them know I would not be leaving you all dickless this year at TWO. And I'll also have the little woman with me so she can meet everyone. New12R(by the way...what happened to the name change...Skeletor?) and myself met up at the house last night and discussed some ideas/plans we have for our club this year. After some perfectly aged steaks and some Yuengling Lager I believe that we have got some big things to discuss at our next meeting. Looking forward to riding witcha again in March. B_S- yep. Battery died on me at work one night and had to jump it. Push starting an XB is almost impossible if it's cold. Replaced the voltage regulator because it was easy and cheaper but to no avail. Put a new stator in and all is well. I really need to go ride it for about an hour solid. Unfortunately the rain is hitting us today (and youins too, I'm sure). Need a few days to figure out how I should do them. Cameron said he saw the video that they did at the dealer and it was really cool and we didn't look like dorks. They showed pics of the 3%ers in the mountains and New12R dragging a knee with the cops behind him.
