I do not think the Vespa chassis is torsionally rigid enough for that.
Shred: Please do catch up with me today. I can burn them to CD if that is what you like... Or I could just post them all.  especially the one where your junk is hanging out after they cut your pants off. Karmicly, I think taking that picture is what made me break my back the next day. |

Wonderful!! I will be in at 12:00. The i have a customer coming to get a bike around 1:30 or so. If you wanted to come around at noon, I could give you my undivided until she shows up... or you could wait until she's done... ie:2:30 or 3.

hey everyone,
bambi i can't wait either,charlies coming in today to talk to Pete about my blast an i'm so excited. I'm probably going to got take the test to get my learners on wednesday. Nathan charlies bro and i are going together wish us luck. charlies already saying he can't wait to do wheelies on my bike , i'm like ok not until i break it in first. he has his own it's my turn to practice and have my own fun. yeah my own fun falling off hopefully not  .we got a new camera this weekened it's the new kodak share camera comes with printer no computer neccessary, charlies at home playing with our new toy.well better get back to work talk at yall later. now i'll be able to post pictures of my bike on badweb . |

Well it has just come to my attention that Colorado has a law that states, and I quote-
It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a motor vehicle with an exhaust system that has been modified in a manner which amplifies or increases the noise emitted above that emitted by the exhaust system originally installed on the vehicle
Damn I'm screwed. Apparently it is a BIG deal and the fuzz are ticketing people left and right for this violation.
A $60 ticket with no points.
Any ideas how I can get around this other than putting a stock pipe back on my bike???
Maybe filing off the 'for race use only'???
I figure I could just tell them 'That's how a Buell sounds, umm it's got a Harley built engine, how do you think it would sound?'
I'm sure they wouldn't be wise to such a statement, considering they probably have never even heard a Buell.
I guess I'll be trailering to ride in the South a little more often that I had originally planned  |

Man...
Steve at SKS sucks!
I went down on Saturday to pick up mine and Glitch's dyno files for Odie.
I walked in and said hi asking Steve if he could give me a copy of the dyno files we ran a few months ago.
He asked if I had a 100$ because that is how much it is gonna cost him to find them.
I said no, but I did bring some disks and could do it myself in a few minutes. He said he could'nt do that but to give him a few minutes and he would see what he could come up with.
So I go outside and smoke a few cigarettes, poke around the shop for a while and finally he shows up with a piece of paper.
After taking a look at it I told him that was Dave's and I really needed mine.
He said well this is the 9...and I said I was aware of that but my bike was the 12.
He replied well I could'nt find that one.
The printout he gave me only showed HP and got soaked on my trip home through the rain so it worthless.

I talked to Clown and he said he thought his dyno can be calibrated to run like what you are looking for.
You may want to follow-up with him about that.
If he can, I can set up a day to go down there and get it dialed in and get you the files you need.
If not, I will try and find someone local to do some more runs with.
I refuse to even give Steve the satisfaction of seeing me at his establishment again!
Give me a call and we can figure it out ASAP.
My day was'nt completely wasted though, I got to see Torqer stand "Look MA no hands" stylee and Clown did some donut's and a burnout in his xB! |

In light of what's happened over the last week or so, it looks highly unlikely.
The muffler issue ya'll speak of is in the books of all states. It's EPA. It's up to the state to enforce or look the other way. "For Race Use Only" is there so the aftermarket manufactures can't be held responsible for you going against the EPA.
I figure, as long as my bike isn't as loud as the L'ville Harley Police, I'm good.
Dave Stueve (Daves) and his wife know people in Wisconsin getting the tickets as well.
It's the pussification of America.

They use a DB meter in alot of states to get an actual noise level. Shocks the Harley crowd who knock the baffles out of the stock pipes when they get tagged for noise disturbance. |

Well I will show off the damage later but, Im a  dumba$$!! Trying to turn around in the street so I could get the mail on the way in and OOOOOPS! Dropped Braveangel and the bike! Oh well, B_A may get a bruise,I might get a bruise from B_A I racked my boys and the signals and pegs broke, no other damage. I will say that I am not in trouble,B_A was laughing at me and not upset, thankfully it was late and the street was empty! |

Turning around? You didn't try the front brake and dump it did you.
I think we've all done that once or twice, it makes it easier with someone on the back.
Ann and I were stopping in a burger place once, when she decided to help me lean the bike as we entered the parking lot. Scrubbed a peg is all, didn't drop the bike. She hasn't ridden since.
