I honestly think I get about 3K miles tops out of a set of Corsa III

these are at 1000 miles if that and they are better than 1/2 worn and they blued in the edges after 1 day in NY state in the catskills tire pressure is ok I just am quite the portly fella and cause a bit of friction on the edge

For anyone mixing up straight slab-type riding with twisties, a dual compound tire such as Michelin Pilot Roads or Conti Road Attacks, both highly regarded in general, would be worth looking into. Harder compound tire material in the center for straight run riding; softer, grippier stuff on the sides for curves.
I'm sure there are other dual compounds out there besides the ones I mentioned.

http://www.us.pirelli.com/web/motorcycle/default.p age

I didn't find a single tire that offered real multi compounds. That said their website kind of sucks.

I'm diggin the Phantom Sportscomp, neat looking tread but I think I'll get some Diablo Rosso Corsa tyres, or stick with the regular old Diablo's, I haven't had any problems with the Diablos except they started loosing pressure once they were worn down pretty good.

Just tried the fitment thing on the Pirelli site, and it says no tyres come up for a Buell xb12scg, how can that be when I have them on right now?
