im not even in the mood for a debate as to why i should upgrade. i have some chain conversion parts sitting around but it just cant happen now.

i fell of the map for about a month. i became single and homless the begining of april after about 5 years together, and no i dont really know whats going on. we have split up for a bit before and gotten back together, but im not sure this will be the same. i have hope, but its not up to me.

anyway, so i do not have the place or time currently to mess with it. i still dont have a place, im crashing at a friends and everything i own is packed in an enclosed trailer sitting here at work, hooked up behind my tahoe. just sitting there.

its a long $hitty story and I AM NOT HAPPY, so please dont turn this into a debate about things. im not up for it.

so basically i am not in the position to buy a new belt either even though i work at a shop it is just to much $ at the moment. everything else has been beating me down to. the state is taking another 500 a month out of my check now for medical insurance for my daughter plus the child support i pay, plus the tahoe payments that litterally started the week all this crap happened, so im broke.

i would just like to round something up even just to run it around town a few times. yes i have the 1125, but i havent ridden the 9 since early last year when the belt stripped. i just would like to ride it. hell i did one track day in april only because i had already paid for it before this, and i have ridden the 1125 only 2 other times this year besides that. im just not feeling it. to upset, the last thing oi need to do is get on a bike when im in a bad mood. i push things enough when i have my head on straight.

so if anyone has an 03 belt laying around let me know. unless someone has the newer belt style set up with pulleys and all, that they really really dont want much for then that would work to, but odds are slim on that.

sorry if this comes across like im being an a$$ at the same time im asking for a break. things are just real sucky right now.

Tim

I'll look in the morning on the 04 and up parts. If I dont have them I'll gladly send you my chain conversion as I was too lazy to change back after the winter.

If you get a hold of the rest of the parts I have a spare 05 belt that's yours; good visual condition but replaced at 24k.

I went through something similar over New Years; the only real positive constant since then has been my Buell. Good luck with yours.

I'm pretty sure I've still got my original '03 belt in the garage. I replaced it at 15K a few years ago and kept it as a spare.

Yes, it's the horrible, horrible, original, but it still looked great when I took it off. ; )

If you want it, send me a PM.

its been a rough go of it, and things still are pretty down in the dumps. bad sign when we cant even speak right now for the most part. its her choice and nothing i can do about it i guess. just let things be and keep working on myself everyday. having a hard time moving forward though. i am doing it, but its just hard. one thing i cant seem to do is move on. i dont feel like im ready to leave her behind. even though she doesnt want anything from me at the moment my heart wont let go of her and her son.

anyway, hammer i emailed you the other day but havent heard back.

Bryan, sent you a pm

I got the PM late last night - I'll pull the belt down from the rafters today when I get home, make sure it still looks serviceable, and then reply to get your mailing info.

Best wishes, mate.

Good luck to you man. I went through the same thing about 3 years ago (but with no kids involved). We never resolved things- it tore my world apart. I wouldn't wish it on anybody.

I hope you can resolve your differences. There is nothing in the world more important your spouse- I think it is hard to see that when you're where you are at right now, even harder to show it to each other. Here's hoping and praying you can

I'd send you (or any BadWebber that needed one, because they have done it for me!) a belt if I had one...in a heartbeat!

Good luck with both your girl and your bike.

well we dont have a child together so thats a good thing, but i have a 9 year old daughter from when i was married, and she has a 7 year old son from when she was married. thing is we both have been in the others childs life for going on 5 years. it hurts alot to lose a child even when it was never really your child. for years i had a hard time with my feelings for her son. the last couple though i had been growing in many areas of my life. trying to better myself. i had finally come to terms with the fact that i could love my daughter AND love him just as much. instead of just feeling like he was getting the time i couldnt seem to get with my daughter and feeling like i was neglecting her by giving him my love: (

we dont have to get another divorce since we never got married, and werent planning on taking that step. we had both been there and werent really up for it again we didnt think.

shes just really scared and confused about where her lifes going i guess. we have had many problems over the years though also. had to work our way through alot of things over the years. as of the way it sits right now we are not working at anything. she chooses not to and i cant seem to change that. she has to figure things out for herself first. she takes a long time when it comes to deep thinking. takes a long time to process things. its a big mess. but nothing is going to change anytime soon, if it ever does. so as of now im on my own again, confused about where my own life is going to go since this change. its hard to keep trying to better yourself when the one person that you want to love you doesnt feel like you are worth her love right now if ever again. but i guess what else is there to do but keep plugging away. ive been the one person she could never get to give up on her through so many things. now it seems like i have no choice but to do that just for my self preservation. thing is i still cant do it even though she has mostly moved on for now. possiably forever...

thanks for the well wishes guys, you have no idea how much they are needed right now.

Tim, I've got the belt with me boxed up and ready to go. It still looks great.

This is an original, so treat it like the relic that it is. Keep your guards on, don't twist, kink, bend, etc (in other wrods, don't "Glitch" it up) and it'll last another 15K. ; )

I've got to run out of the office for errands around lunchtime - the post office is right next to the bank, so hopefully you see this and can send me your mailing address before then.

Tim, years back I was in a similar situation. I took a week off and left the area for a vacation. I didnt spend hardly any money. Mostly camping and drinking with friends. It really helped me realize I could enjoy life without her. I dont know if your planning on going to homecoming but it could be just what the doctor ordered. If you rode out and camped it shouldnt cost that much. Either way good luck getting back on your feet emotionally and financially.

Damn Tim, sorry to hear all the shit.
I've been off line most days here lately, so I'm just now reading your predicament.
Give me a call if you need too, I'm all ears if you want to rant, or talk, or just bullshit.
