Ive had quiet a few on my m2.
Had one stubby little redneck come up going on about how badass the bike is and how its a bad mother •••••••
When i first bought it, my friend asked if it was a 250, i explained that it was a 1200 and his jaw hit the floor.
Had a guy on a bagger pull up behind me at a gas station and kinda sneer at my bike. I left before he did and kinda got on it, and the bubs are pretty loud. Passed him later that day and he was the first to wave at me.
Worst one, had a guy at a gas station ask me why i would put a harley engine in a ducati, i just shook my head and left. |

Yesterday at a gas station with two other non Buell bikes a guy walks over to the three and looks over the Buell intently. It's splattered with bugs and mud. The other two bikes are clean, shiney and very stylish. He doesn't even look at them. Almost as though they don't exist. He never said a word and didn't need to.
Later at a rest stop, as the other two catch up and stop. The better rider of the two says "I've never been able to take that corner at 100 like you just did". My responce was " when I was building that bank in Walla Walla last year I straifed that corner at 120 every day but my tires were fresher then."

I got told by a friend/goldwinger, he drives a Buell that means he'll ride anything. Couple of weeks later raced another friend on his 'ol ladies ninja 636, beat it heads up. (His bike is crazy fast I'm not dumb enough to race that one.) After that the goldwinger has been saying nothing but good things about my bike. |

Im gonna add another one to the pile. When I was on my southern road trip this spring with a freind of mine on a Gsxr. We pulled into a 24hour Walmart at about 2am. On the way through the parking lot I noticed it had new blacktop. There wasnt a car in site so I procceded to ride in some tight circles at full lean. I wasnt going very fast, just fast enough to be able to hold a full tilt lean. My buddy followed my lean and we parked. As we are walking up to the door we see a bunch of employees smoking on the side of the building and they wave us over. Im thinking uh oh Im gettin it. The guy says "What brand of bike is that sic one?" I ask him "The blue one or the black one?" He says "The Black one with the nasty exhaust!" I tell him its a Buell. The whole group was going on and on... I kinda felt bad for how unintrested they were in his 08 Gsxr.

I was working at the pub the other night and got into a conversation with a guy who owns a Roadking. I started my bike to let him hear it, and his wife came outside, looked at him and said "Oh, I thought you had your bike running."
The guy's response: "No, his sounds better." |
