Well we have a white one now and i do like it. Picked up a black fairing. Another awesome thing is the ability to easily swap colors. I like black but have not seen a black firebolt with the silver frame. All the 12Rs I have seen, have the graphite frame. So I like the black but also tossing around the idea of a flat color. I like that look too. Not black, seen that one done. Any suggestions? | ||

Is that yours? Nice. I also got black passenger heel gards and want to paint the passenger peg supports black as well. Need em. Looks good, lots of contrast. | ||

That's not mine, just an online search result. I've got a black 03 XB9S. I've been thinking of going to white body work. I'd consider a trade if want, airbox, f.fender, and lower fairing. | ||

I swapped my blue plastics for black when I came back from Japan, then swapped out the controls, heel guards, pegs for black and added carbon fiber frame protectors and the pucks. Pic's in the profile. I need to update it one of these days. | ||

Ok, my overplan: Get a set of the black wheels with the red pinstripe. throw tires on them and then every time I swap tires swap plastics. Will probably get old but a good idea.  So not trading the plastics but is a good idea. | ||

All plastics are off an 03'. Had to modify the airbox cover for the 07' air intake.  | ||

Dont the 12R come with hero blue wheels and the 1125R come with diamond blue wheels? They sell the diamond blues though. So you can make it that way too. | ||

If I were to go custom paint, I'd go with N0_Rice's 1125r color. Copperish. I love that look. Put some black rims on and you'd be set. | ||

No_rice, how did u do the flat colors? and where did u get the front pulley guard? just olive drab green paint. the sprocket cover is a prototype from drummer that never got put into production that way. to many worries that someone would get a boot lace or something stuck in the pulley. there are only a couple of them around, and even less black anodized ones. That's a sweet colage ya got there Mr Rice yes it is pretty cool looking. wonder who webbed that thing together?! | ||
