I don't like that design Skully. Get rid of the LLC. What does that mean anyway? And have Dark Horse Moto go all the way around. Or just get rid of it completely. If the screen printing doesn't hold up and eventually starts coming off like I think it will, that will make your quality product look lower quality. Anytime I see paint coming off it leaves me thinking the product is not a quality piece.

Keith,
You are in buisness. Like Ted said, make your products for other brands. Put the logo on the flat spot of the outer edge not the face. Be subtle and classy about it, but get your logo and brand on them. If a guy likes the look of your sliders, he'll start a conversation with the rider on the bike, or look close at it to see where he can get it. On the face of the slider, IMHO, it's much less classy. I'm a "clean Lines" guy. Not flashy. On the edge you also have the added benifit of maintaining the logo and brand after your product proves itself, which will not be the case if you put it on the face.

Paul

Get rid of the LLC. What does that mean anyway?

Hi Timothy - L.L.C. are the initials for "Limited Liability Corporation" that I am required to include when the company name is used but I honestly don't know how far that has to be taken.

Hi Paul - I like your suggestion. That could be the best of both worlds. Are you getting any decent riding weather up there in the Pacific NW?

However, I think that for at least the short term, I'll leave the buttons blank and offer a few other colors. I really appreciate everyone voicing their opinions.

We completed the fork composite slider manufacturing drawings last night. I'll review them and get to the machine shop!

Rode two weeks ago all weekend, and just today got a day dry enough to ride in instead of carpool.

Any intentions of anodizing or powdercoating the Al sliders?

As you know, we offer our legacy sliders in plain or powder coat. With the option of having black and perhaps two or three acetal button color options, I didn't have immediate plans for offering powder coat on these. With this in mind, would powder coating be important to you?

No point in having a tiny logo you can't really see. Offer a sticker that comes with the product. If people want to advertise they can. People love stickers because they can put them anywhere they want.

The one thing I can be sure of after reading the various proceeding posts - there is no consensus. You've made it thus far operating a business without focus groups and surveys. The most successful businesses give people what they didn't know they needed or wanted.

Well, I understand small buisness, capital investment and start up costs, but if in the future you had the ability to match Buell wheel colors...
