How much did you have to mod the swingarm for the fatty? Did you find a kit for the offset or make something? Also, what about the wheel?

Interesting, so the 240 fit between the stock swingarm? I was suprised to hear that, and it had room for the chain too? What size wheel?

If y'all think that tail on Wolf's bike looks familiar, it should. We traded this weekend.
I've still got some cleaning to do, and need to re-wrap my headers, put the fairing lower back on, and I've got a new idler pulley that's been blacked out to put on, so I'm almost done. Oh yeah, tires too, Pilot Powers. Heres what it looks like at the moment...

mine leaked within 300 miles of new in the same spot. there is an elbow next to the oil pressure sender, by the oil filter that was hand tight from the factory. GREAT quality control guys! oh yeah and you have to take the sender out to spin the elbow tighter.

No leak, just a dirty can.
I painted it, back to the original silver.
I painted it black.
I painted it red.
I painted it black again...
Most of that is just road grime.
If there is any oil on there, it's from not being too tidy while changing the oil.
But, more than likely just plain ol dirt.

Ron,
it's been six days now since I've seen those pics you posted of your bike and I am still speechless.

Maybe some day I will be able to put into words just how cool I think your bike is.

Right now the only word that comes to mind is ....Breathless....

Ron - Your Black Badness is looking great, modded Acerbis unit is stroke of genius for the front end.

Hey man, might be zipping through LV in Sept. during my 1500 mile Iron Butt run... any chance of seeing your XB in person?

its amazing how much i've done and how little it shows, new this winter is new teflon clutch cable, ceramic coated race can, CF chin spoiler, painted pieces behind flyscreen. (done much much more) i will throw in the towel, when i replace all the flat plastic like the scoops and belts gaurds with CF pieces, would also like XB9 cam and primary cover, paint the heel gaurds to go with frame. i will bring her back out once i get my new tire. (i'll make sure i get some better pictures then.

Thanks Aatch, It's loud and I love it. Mid range power is very noticeable. I will be taking it out for another spin tomorrow if weather permits.

I know how work goes. Today was my first ride in 2 weeks.

I am running my stock ECM and will so for a few hundred miles anyway to see how well it adjusts after that I may get it re-mapped.
