Happy now?

Once again, you refuse to let the facts get in the way of your opinion.

That was an incredible follow-up to your "grow up" comment though.

71, It's become an embarassment for me to be a two-stroke fan, after watching your antics here. Maybe I'll need to sell that RD400 after all...

or just hang with less hostile, monkey-up-their butts folks, heh?

personally after perusing w/ amusement all this dross, i am happy to admit - as my next bike - i want a ... 2006 yzf-r6 .. this based on watching a bunch of supersport, formula xtreme & similar races recently .. they typically fill the top 5.

not to mention they are cool in a fugly way & make a nasty screaming sound that makes my skin tingle.

purely for racing tho .. i will always keep my xb12r tho .. its my project bike & soulmate .. its tried to kill me twice & respect it for that! : )

weird ..

The sound of my r6 with an M4 pipe is truely unbelievable, 'specially when banging into the next higher gear!! And i can only wish I could ride it at wsir,(ask the R1's), it was most etertaining at TWS on the high banking, sure miss 165 plus thru 8 at willow!
I am awaiting the shoot out!

Curtyd, If someone on a web site can embarrass you, I think you should seek professional help.
How much you want for the RD?

Vonsliek - Check out Motorcyle Online article on the latest 600 comparison. The R6 was not very well received. The Daytona 675 was picked on top, and the ZX6R 636 second. The problem is the R6 is cammed so high, it is no fun on the street. The Triumph and Kawazaki have allot more low end grunt and can hang with the R6 up top. Both great bikes.

m2nc .. i have read most reviews & comparos .. i am basing my decision on bike being for amateur & up 600cc races. not or street ... i understand it blows as a streetbike .. actually i always had the jones for the zx-6r .. but its 636cc .. that leaves the zx-6rr .. but hard to find, out of date & not having dones so well ...

the gsx-r600 was looking good . but it is low & set-up for honda-type agreeability.

i am after a screaming, bastard of a bike to really motor on .. after recent ama races, i am r6-enamoured.

paul.

If you want a track bike, an R6 is a great bike. Enjoy.

Vonsliek,

I did exactly as you want to do, and highly recommend it. The r6 is fantastic on the track. Keep your XB for the street.
