got a new kodak V530 digicam for xmas, and since some other buellers were nice enough to help me out with how to shrink my pics to get them on here i can now post my pride and joys.

white one is my first 03 xb9r. a nitroused beast. with the looks to match now. stripping a good 6 to 8 inches of teeth off of the belt caused what u see left of it. some has been replaced already. teeth stripped under load just hammering 2nd and when it caught flipped her clean over and then proceeded to end for end. FUN RIDE!

black one is my new to me 03 xb9r got it with the thrust blue and changed it with the black set i picked up to replace my white set on the other one

should work out to about a 50 horse shot. have yet to get it on the dyno though. it only actually has a few uses on it at the moment. planning on bumping it up to about 75 when it gets back together and check a few more things over before it's used to much.

have put together a few nitrous systems for some of our bikes.

i had never tried just running the fuel solenoid by its self with no nitrous sprayed at the same time until i was testing this one because i was wondering if the stock fuel pump would have enough pressure to keep the bike running full tilt at the same time i was robing the extra fuel needed to spray in with the nitrous. it really didnt mist just kind of came out in a stream. hooked up an auxiliary pump for just the fuel solenoid and it still just streamed out. open the nitrous solenoid at the same time though and it mists just like it should look. so i am kind of wondering if they are always that way or if the fuel should spray instead of stream even without the nitrous mixed in. problem is at the moment this is the only thing around running nitrous on it so i cant check out any of the other ones to see if it's normal.

maybe someone with alot more nitrous experiance than me will chime in on that?

On the systems I've run on cars...The fuel always streamed. It's the nitrous coming out near 1000psi from behind the fuel that atomizes it. That's why the fuel and nitrous ports are positioned the way they are on the nozzles. I always ran NX kits, and I'm referring to single and double nozzle F.I. kits.

Ever thought of upgrading to '06 belt or chain?

I would be surprised if the '03 belt, even in its latest iteration, is up to the stress you are putting on it with the nitrous oxide.

One of our brothers, Glitch, managed to shear more than a few teeth just doing dyno drags with his race kitted '03 Nine.

Brother Saintly has a very sanitary chain conversion which he claims cost less than a new belt. Of course he is a professional mechanic and did all the work himself.

charlieboy, yes, yes that looks familiar, dont know where i've seen that poor site before. you know you arent supposed to do EVERYTHING you see on the computer, lol

tommy, thanks. thats what i figured because of all that extra pressure added with the nitrous. but having none of the other stuff left around to compare it to i wasn't sure.

jon,. saintly is a great guy. helped me out more than i can explain with the transmission in my blazer. i do plan on probably changing them to chain. i have seen his conversion and it looks good. figured i might hit him up about the sprockets he used at some point when i get to changing things. i do have a different idea for a tensioner for the chain though, so i picked up another idler arm to chop up and have some fun with

Charlie....why do you have a boogie board in your garage? You do realize you live in the desert, don't you?

Don't bother givin' me a geography lesson either...I know you're a helluva lot closer to the ocean than I am. Just wait til Cali drops off into the ocean when the BIG one hits...THEN you'll have ocean front property!

Ok truth, I didn't do that, that's what it looked like when I bought it. It had been tossed out the back of a truck when someone was trying to steal it from Wycked.

About the boogie board, I bought that way back when I was stationed at Miramar. Had a lot of fun on that thing. Now the best I can do is kneeboard on it in a canal behind a truck!

Hey Norice, Trojan has a pretty nice chain setup. Should check it out...
