Sadly we could not make Miller. I just now finished adjusting the valves on the 1190RS to try to get to a track day tomorrow. I haven't ridden in way too long. Things are very much up in the air for the rest of the AMA season. Shawn seems to have lost his enthusiasm to race and it's just way too difficult and expensive to do this without total commitment. I hope this is a temporary situation. We'll see. | ||

rob, sorry to hear that. his heart needs to be in it, or you'll never make this work. the pressure at that level to even keep pace with that group is more than i can comprehend. it's just not worth risking rider and equipment if he is wavering at all. enjoy the experience and let him make his choice! good luck! | ||

That sucks but economic and professional pressure can get to us all it's a dog eat dog pace out there. Perhaps there is a young gun slinger out there looking to make a name for themselves that can give it a go? | ||

Rob - sad to hear that. I'm sure Shawn is a bit disheartened with his standings, frustrating adjusting to a new platform. Still, seems pretty good results for a privateer to me. I know I brag y'all up every chance I get.  I hope he changes his mind, I was really digging the races and videos y'all have done. | ||

I don't think it has much to do with what's happening on the track. Things off the track have presented unexpected challenges, creating distractions that have been difficult to overcome. Lack of a major sponsor certainly exacerbates things. It was a long shot to begin with. Perhaps we underestimated just how long. | ||

What an amazing ride. I feel honored to have been a part and am ready to pick up where we left off. In the mean time anybody know any teams needing a mech/pit crew??? |
